This road-trip stop was actually for trying their 25th anniversary stout (which was nitro and delicious with a free snifter glass, too!) but we also had some great food.
Ate outside off a less busy side street and had the Club on a ciabatta roll (would have been really nice with some hand-cut smoked turkey) a Cubano (very good) and the spicy pork sandwich (very good).
Food prices are in line with quality, but the stout price with the glass was a steal! Tried to get a growler...read full review

Emmett's Brewing Company is a cozy, comfortable restaurant with a great beer selection and delicious food. The menu offers a variety of options, including vegetarian choices. The bar has a nice vibe and is perfect for a drink and appetizers. The friendly and attentive service adds to the overall experience. The beer menu is extensive, making it a good choice for beer enthusiasts, and the stout was delicious. The burgers are enormous and the food came out hot and fresh. It's an ideal place to visit when in downtown Downers Grove, but parking might be a challenge due to its location on Main Street.
