“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. First time trying their food. I ordered the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash, it was delicious. Savory, a touch of spice just right. Salted Caramel Holey Donuts were good. Looking forward to trying more.“

“We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the Lake Forest location when we were in town for our daughter's U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command graduation. By far the best place we ate when we were in the Chicagoland area. I gave it a nod in my book and encourage anyone visiting Great Lakes to stop there with their sailor during liberty.“

The interior is very cute and retro with lots of fun decor on the walls. I ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were super thick and yummy, and the eggs were some of the best over medium I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My brother got the patty melt with fries and the free cup of soup- what a steal! The server was friendly and prompt. My only slightly negative is that it was a little warm inside for my preference, but it was a super hot day when I visited. If I’m in the area, I will be back!“

While they offer a wide variety of wonderful coffees, I find myself drawn to their expertly prepared Greek-style coffee. It’s rich, authentic, and always served with care. Their freddo espressos are another standout, especially refreshing when paired with their breakfast options.

Speaking of breakfast, Papagalino Express shines here as well. Their breakfast sandwiches are flavorful, satisfying, and surprisingly affordable. Though they do offer lunch and other menu items, my visits are usually focused on their morning offerings, which are always fresh and delicious.

I personally prefer Papagalino Express over its nearby sister location. The welcoming staff, excellent coffee, and budget-friendly breakfast options make it an easy favorite for anyone seeking a great start to their day. Highly recommended!

The food is absolutely delicious, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. The Million Dollar Bacon is incredible—perfectly cooked and so flavorful. “The first thing you notice is the farm house decor. The menu is American fare with a hint of some southern dishes. The staff is great considering it can get busy after 8:30 am. There’s plenty of parking and weather permitting. They have outside seating.“

“I had the spinach and mushroom crepe and it was not good. I blame myself for not telling the waiters anything to possibly save me $15, my plate was still full when we asked for the check! The potato pancakes were very oily for me and the spinach tasted undercooked, the mushrooms didn’t help the texture as well. I was really hungry so I had some fries and pickles, 10/10 would come back for some fries and ketchup. Really should’ve sent my food back but I was shy lol! Anyways, great place for breakfast!!“

“IHOPs can vary a great deal from location to location, since they are franchises. This specific IHOP is good. We go here rather than the very expensive breakfast restaurants nearby. We tried those places and the food is only as good, or not as good, as this IHOP, but at twice the price. This location is always bustling on the weekend but the service remains consistent. The food is good, also consistently. We stick with breakfast and lunch items. This review is based on the opinions of a senior, a teen, and two adults. We all feel the same.“

“My server was excellent, attentive & very patient. I was looking over the deals for the month, price matters. I am a senior and he gave me time to gather my thoughts so I could order what I wanted. Sometimes we are rushed and not treated with respect. This was such a pleasant dining experience.
