“I have no idea why this franchise is given such a low rating; it's the best in the north suburbs, hands down. The workers are wonderful, take great pains to fill your order correctly, and the food is really, really good. Their mashed potatoes are how these fried chicken places should serve them ~ tastes like the real thing. KFC is completely done, can't even compete with this delicious chicken. The employees couldn't be kinder and nicer here. I travel over 17 miles to come here from Glenview. We have a Popeye's just up the street, maybe a mile, and they are nowhere close to the excellence of this franchise. This kitchen at Wheeling had their sign turned off at night, so I almost missed the place. They had forgotten to turn on the lights! Their attention to customer meals, making sure everything is correct, and that they give you condiments (honey, butter) for the biscuit, plastic flatware for the meal, etc. Everything tastes fresh, right out of the oven. Hands down best place in the north suburbs.“

“This is the best one of all the bbq chickens. Sooo delicious n service is always so fast with piping hot fresh wings. Ny favorite flavor is Gangnam style in boneless. It’s kinda sweet a tiny bit spicy. I’ve tried all the flavors and this is the best one. Some locations only offer gangnam style in traditional wings not boneless n I’m grateful Vernon hills location has it available in boneless. The girl who mans the front counter is so sweet and I’ve never had a single issue with food quality or service.“

She ordered the red hot wings and I ordered the Mep tenders (sweet and spicy with a Mayo glaze), and we share the bulgogi fried rice. Everything was fantastic! Our server was very kind and attentive. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“Growing up in the area, I noticed a new Korean restaurant opened and been wanting to try for a while! My best friend and I dined in for dinner. We ordered the 2 different options of boneless chicken (soy garlic and original flavor) and bulgogi kimchi fried rice, and they all were flavorful! We were given complimentary pickled radish! The food came out quickly, and the staff were super friendly and kind! I really like the idea of the self service stations so you are able to get what you need without waiting on the staff to get you utensils and etc so your food comes out faster and as soon as it's made! The restaurant is super clean and quite cozy!“

“They had me at the crispy light chicken tender pieces. I ripped them apart to cool them off a little and each was tastier than the next. I ordered the classic fried chicken tenders, side of pickled radish cubes. I also added a sauce on the side to dip into; soy garlic. Added the coleslaw fresh sweat and sour creamy flavor. Perfect with the chicken. Oh and don't forget the bulgogi fried rice . So good! Perfect Sunday dinner.

“A mix of a rotisserie chicken place and a Mexican restaurant. Got a whole chicken and sides. The chicken had very good flavor and smoke. It was a little dry as if it was kept in the heating box for a while or just overcooked a bit. The sides were not memorable. I’d go back again and just skip the sides. The Mexican food looked good.“

“My fiance and I were in the mood for pizza. I've seen positive reviews for Mario's so I thought we'd give it a try. We went there tonight. What can I say? The reviews were not wrong. :) . We got a 14 inch all sausage and spinach, half onion and cheese sticks. It was all so good. The pizza was delicious! They have a few tables to eat in and they also of course offer delivery. We met Ted, the owner, and he's a really great guy. The lady who took our order was great, too. We definitely will be back or do delivery. Thank you!“

“I first tried this place when its first open the food was better. My family and I order trays of chicken fingers with their amazing sauce and fries. Until last year I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and my niece ordered chicken fingers combo we realized the taste of their food change from chicken to the sauce and fries. Its too peppery not like before perfect seasoning. I told her this was not their food before. I said I'm not going back again. Then my child and I was hungry after her game it was late around 11p. So my kid wanted to eat chicken sandwich and want to go to Cane's. We ordered the chicken sandwich combo and I order the tenders combo, still same taste very peppery. I was planning to buy a take home tray of fingers but changed my mind. I hope they put their true recipe back like before. Their sauce is too much ketchup and pepper, chicken is very seasoned with pepper and the fries is too salty. This restaurant was good before now very disappointing. But atleast the ice tea is still good but it was better before. I guess it's just because they were newly open that time the recipe was good. I'd hope they kept it like just before.“
