“I was surprised by how good the food is just because this place is definitely more of a bar than a grill. We all enjoyed our meals, and the service was excellent. The prices are fair, and it would be a great place to come check out sports or some live music. They also have some slot machines.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options besides salads, but I believe they have a few.Kid-friendliness: Kids are certainly welcome and they have a kids menu, but it is really close to an actual bar.“

“I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. The front deck is amazing and I can't wait for the fun meals once the kitchen is finished. I used to make this a once a year place, but now it is a must stop everytime if out for drinks. “They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“

“This was my first time at Clancy's on 95th. It was clean and comfortable. The ladies behind the counter were delightful and easy going. A friend invited me to join her and a handful of her friends, to watch Billy Gray perform (he was fabulous with his deep voice. I listen to country music every once and awhile, but Billy had me moving my feet and tapping the table top to the music.)and we had a wonderful time. The beers were reasonably priced ($4 or $16 for a bucket of five. They give you wooden tokens to collect a cold beer when you are ready or the bucket if you prefer. My friend ordered a ham and cheese sandwich that was delicious and came with fries or in-house made potato chips. I would definitely go back.“

“The James Joyce is a local treasure. It’s the epitome of an Irish pub; friendly, good service, and a social gathering place. “We came for Valentines to try the food and beer. The menu is simple and to the point. We both had smash burgers. Let me tell you, the burger was delicious. I went with the double and it was huge. I'll get the single smash burger next time. The cheese curd basket with ranch was really good. The atmosphere is chill, the food is yummy and reasonably priced. Oh and the beer on tap was nice and cold. Definitely coming again to try the pizza ? ?“

“We stopped in since we were attending The Family Feud Night in their hall. The restaurant was packed and they found seating quickly for me and my husband. We both enjoyed the battered cod and I had breaded shrimp too. All the menu prices looked reasonably but then again we aren't alcohol drinkers at meal time so are billing is always reasonable. We live 1/2 mile away so we definitely will be back. The hostess was very accommodating and our waitress was prompt since we shared we will be attending The Family Feud event ~ in which made it a fun date night ?Now that event area had bar services and the kaluha and creams were delicious !!! ?“

“I didn't expect much when we stopped in on a Sunday right around lunchtime and no one was there other than a few in the bar. We ended-up very pleasantly surprised as the menu was quite extensive and everyone could find something to eat. We had two people get personal thin pizzas and one kid burger sliders and one adult chicken Parm sliders. Add a few cups of soup and some sodas and we were set. The chicken was very tasty and you got three good size ones with fries so I had one left to send for lunch with the kids. The waitress was lovely and understanding of kids who took forever to choose! We will definitely be back!“

“I will definitely be using this establishment again! The staff was fantastic from the booking process to the service at the party. I never had to ask twice if we needed something, there were no attitudes and lots of smiles (As the host I was able to actually totally enjoy the party stress free! It was nice!). Everyone was very pleased with the food (the beef was amazing) and for me it was a huge plus because I have a wheat allergy so I have to eat gluten free if I want to breathe! When booking it was discussed they adjusted a few things and I was able to eat 90% of what was served.“

“This is not your typical ‘bar food’. Everything we have tried there is higher quality Restaurant Food. Bartenders … especially Artie and Kristy are attentive, efficient and fun ! The 0wner, Tommy is usually hanging around and is friendly and accommodating. Sometimes due to allergies I have to alter the menu a little and he doesn’t hesitate to switch things around a little… Do yourself a favor… stop in for a great meal and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.“

I ordered the Derby Burger which was mouthwateringly delicious. My friend ordered the Greek chicken with Naan which also looked yummy & my friend confirmed. I like that they have TouchTunes (jukebox) which allows you to play your favorite song without passing a aux cord. it’s a chill vibe. “This is a nice restaurant. Little out dated on the decor and the windows are very drafty during the winter time, air pours in them so you don't want to sit next to them if you want to stay warm. But they have really good soup. I had stuffed pepper soup and it was very yummy. Wish I got a whole bowl instead of a cup. The waitress was very friendly.“

“Cool bar. They have slot machines, bathrooms at both end of the bar, a cute little gazebo outside that's enclosed with a TV that's very nice. A lot of different drinks and just a nice little atmosphere. The only thing negative was the bartender was hard to trackdown. Either she was outside smoking or in the back talking on the phone. Waiting for her to serve us was a long time. She was nice but not very efficient. But I will say I do recommend this bar“

“Kalina, Lucy, jamie, Betsy, and Marlee are the best servers. Kalina has been my waitress and bartender for years now and she always makes sure that I have the best time. Lucy has the best smile. Marlee knows how to keep the energy happy and Betsy is the absolute sweetest. I love coming here“

My friends were kind enough to take me to this pub for some dinner and we were pleased at our food and dining experience. When you walk in you are met with traditional Irish decor, and a lovely fireplace in the dining area. Very welcoming and clean. I liked it immediately. Heather H. waited on us and was very friendly and helpful with making some dinner suggestions. It is a very cute interior and warm environment. My friends got Guiness of course and I was pleased to see they had a surprisingly good selection of white wine, so I opted for a glass of the Joel Gott sauvignon blanc ($9.25). I was starving and got the Wild Alaskan blackened salmon ($19.95) MM MMM with a side Salad and OH YES house made blue cheese dressing to die for. Very generous portion of fish, perfectly cooked.My friends shared a basket of crinkle cut fries ($5), curry sauce ($3.50) and Irish sausage ($6), plus Southwest Chicken Egg Rolls ($7.95). The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, and the food is really good. The dinner menu has a very impressive selection, a little bit of everything.“
