Overall, Peter’s Deli in Lemont is a hidden gem with the best family-friendly atmosphere and a landmark on this planet. I’ll definitely be returning!

“After Vesecky (bakery) in Berwyn closed several months ago, preceeded by the loss of Bohemian Crystal (restaurant) about a year earlier; we thought it was no longer worth the 3+ hr drive up to the Chicago suburbs to satisfy our Czech food cravings. This is the type of east-European ethnic deli/eatery that is becoming harder and harder to find; thank goodness we spotted it. If one enjoys Czech cuisine, this is a "must" visit.“

“The best ham ever! My family has been eating this Honey Baked Ham since I was a little girl growing up in Detroit, Michigan. We were so happy to have found it here in the Chicago area way back in 1986 when we moved here from Michigan.
