Bakers Square Restaurant & Bakery

Even though there is a Bakers Square 10 minutes away from where I live, I really liked coming to this specific location. Both locations are the exact same foodwise. Everytime I would stay at my grandparent's house in Skokie, I would come here with my grandma for lunch. We came here for breakfast once and I ordered the french toast. It was great. Love the food Employees are polite Ambient atmosphere Always a pleasant experience Only one time on an extremely busy day they had accidentally and understandably made a mistake and given the food that my guardian and I had ordered to someone else due too a mix up So the manager had the meal made and apologized and even gave it too us for free

As an urban type who turns his nose up at chain restaurants I realized I can't find any reason not to love this place. Been there maybe 5 times and the food is always good (especially the steak tips), it's always quiet (hard to find in the city), and most of all the service has always been great. Not just quick, but very friendly. We had Mike last time and he had just the right amount of humor and level of communication. Couldn't ask for better.
