This is by far the best gyro around! The owner is dialed in on keeping this establishment not only going but thriving with his wonderful food and atmosphere. Great memories over 40 years of coming here and so nice to see many young customers continuing the Legacy of the iconic Wilmette establishment!
Since the late 70s through the 80’s and a little of the 90’s this has been my weekend go to place. The gyros are the best , the service is tops and it’s just a fun place to be at. Plan on taken my sons and wife soon!! Suggestion- you guys should have an instagram account and load some great pics of your place, food and customers!! Thanks for great memories!
Back in the day say circa1978-9-80.when Sam was carving and cooking I ate there almost every day.Nicki was on the counter along with (I think his sister?).and ol Sam was a sweatin and a slice n...ahhhhhhh what great memories.
