This location should be the model for all the others!“

“This is a five star overall and in every category rating. After reading reviews on all sites I thought I’d give Joe’s a try. Their site indicated fresh ingredients, fresh dough, and outstanding service. It’s true! This is not a chain…as in everything tastes the same, pizza. The sauce is fresh and not overly salted or seasoned; you taste the tomatoes, the sausage, the green peppers and the onions! It was risky because I ordered this for New Year’s Eve for a group, (even tho I’d never had it) but all loved it. I had to laugh thinking about others’ reviews that note it tastes different-that’s because they haven’t had fresh ingredient pizza in so long. The owners (I assumed) were fun and kind and the cozy/small pick-up makes you feel like you are in another country-Italy. “Lou's is one of our favorite pizza restaurants. Unfortunately, our last visit did not live up to our previous ones. The Lou''s deep dish pizza had a crust that was very tough. The server could hardly cut it and we could not cut it with out knives without a lot of muscle and sawing motions. The server did not come back to serve us our subsequent slices, as most do. Also, it was one of our guests birthday's and the server brought out a mini cookie with ice cream and whipped cream, which was nice. We noticed other tables had a cherry and a candle on top. And the noise level was really high.“

Not directly but when sitting at the bar, he will YELL right over our heads at another employee and in front of all the customers. or stand behind the bar and complain very loudly about stuff...we can also hear him YELLING at employees in the kitchen. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“
