Went in a week later got sarcastic service and less meat in my tacos while the waitress took it upon herself to tip herself off of my card and didn't give me the customers copy of the recipet to hide it. I saw the charge go on my card as a different price then what she brought me and I do believe that's illegal.Went back the next day and talked to manager. Great job handling the situation.“

“I came here on Monday, February 12th, with my friend for my birthday and we spent a good amount of time in here enjoying our drinks and chatting. It was so nice and comfortable inside and there was a good selection of chocolates, too. Also, there were vegan chocolate options which was good for my friend. I had the matcha latte and it was so good! I wish I would have gotten a larger size, but that means I'll have to make another trip out there to get one! It wasn't very crowed when we were there and it was rather peaceful, too, as we couldn't really hear the people around us talking. I can't wait to get back to Woodstock and get myself another drink from here!“
“I ordered the taco lunch special which was delicious; one steak and one Al pastor. The salsas served with the chips were not spicy hot; the red one had tomato chunks and fresh cilantro, and the green one was smooth. I will be back to try everything on the menu! “I recall the early openers they opened at 5 am. If you were at a party and ran out of beer you would get in a cab and say take me to an early opener. Then they would take you straight down to the docks. It was really great sitting there. You would see the fellows in there dungarees having a couple quick ones before starting work then someone would walk in wearing a ball gown or a tuxedo. It was a delight. The fellows starting a hard day's work and the leftovers from the parties.“
“My husband and I have walked past this place every single week for 2 years and each time I would say, we should try this place. So we finally did. It's definitely a dive bar - nothing special about the atmosphere. The 2 times we've been there, there was a hint of pinesol in the air. But friendly service. And the food - we only had tacos - is outstanding! The barbacoa is delicious - slightly spicy. Unless you're my husband and then it's too spicy. But yummy! The pastor is equally as delicious. We also tried the chicken tacos which are very good, too. Each taco is meaty and flavorful. Definitely recommend. On Tuesdays tacos are on special - but for the amount of taco you get, no complaints in pricing whatsoever on the other days. Definitely recommend.“

“Food truck variety and events make this place great, ownership is kind and attentive. Depending on your age range it can sometimes be full of people you went to high school with, which is sometimes good, and sometimes not! One of the better bars in town for sure.Parking: Metra lot, street parking.“
