“We came for a birthday celebration and had a wonderful time. Justin, our waiter was very personable and gave us great service. Our food was cooked perfectly and very good. They even surprised the birthday girl with a robot that brought her birthday dessert to our table. The robot then sang the Happy birthday song. Such a fun night. We will definitely be back soon. Lot of food too!!8“
“These people are the best!! Thank you for bringing such a great place to Hampshire! Family dinners, date nights, music bingo with friends, and time is a great time at Copper Barrel!! Food is amazing, the drinks are delicious and the staff is first class!“
“Great place and some unique burgers. We gent right at home. I would recommend this place for sure. The Lipsmacker burger is a weird combination that most people would not order. I did not order it, but my wife did. I am glad she did because it was crazy good.“
“I've been here a handful of times. You could be one of two. Or its packed to the max. They have fun days like free bingo or karaoke. All of the Bartenders have been very attentive and very friendly. They have complimentary popcorn, with all of these flavors you can add to it. So thats a nice touch. My lemon drop martini, was perfect!Stop in for a drink, you will not be disappointed.“
“Out group of Riders stoped at this place for breakfast yesterday. I only wish this place is closer to me. They have an excellent cook the breakfast he cooked for us was absolutely tasty. I recommend this place a lot. Will stop there soon again. Thank you.“
“The first time I ended up at this place it was because I found it on a Google search when I was looking for some tacos close to my job.I'll be honest, when I saw that it was inside of a gas station, it felt a little sketchy. I'm so glad I tried it, though! Their tacos are great!! I've been here many times and the quality and flavor is always consistent.“
“Everything on the menu seems to be amazing. The service is always friendly and fast, and the food is often out so fast that I'm surprised by it. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants out there, and this one is tied for the top spot in my experience. I seriously only know one other restaurant with food this good, and have only had tacos as gourmet as these twice in my life. It's not just good. It's the kind of restaurant that becomes your standard for how food should be done. Give it a try. You'll thank me.“
“Another iconic place that has been there forever...It use to be a pretty rough establishment back in the day. But, hey we're old schoolers and born & raised locals from here. The majority of us go there. We all grew up together or attended school in the area and know each other. Great place to get a brew or mix drink, and reminisce. Lots of old faces in here. If your from here or seeking info about our town... Then you know where to hang out at. Restrooms, Karaoke, Jukebox, Full Service Bar, Pizza and Chips, Dartboards and plenty of seating available. Always something happening. Smoking allowed in front or back areas. We're all friendly folks in here. Stop in for one or more. Welcome to our neighborhood. Fri & Sat. Nights are quite busy. See ya soon. A+.“
“Lots of potential here. Cozy with a large outdoor area including seating with fire pits. Wood is $15 if you want a fire. Clean restrooms and friendly service are found here along with newer but tight indoor seating area. Will go back as this was our first visit. Live guitar player/singer outside named Josh that sounded very good but froze his fingers off... Tap Room, give him some heat! Met friendly and fun people so looking forward to stopping in again. It's located right across from Klein's on Plank Road.“
“Nice little dive bar. Found it as we messed up the train schedule coming back from Medinah and enjoyed some beer and pool. Close to the casino so we walked over there for a bit then headed back to the bar for a last round before catching the right train back home. Definitely an old building which is cool. If I was ever near there again I would stop in.“
“Perfect dive bar for an autumn night! Drinks are very cheap and the bar is casual and relaxed. There is a jukebox and snacks for sale but no beer on tap...only Jaeger the crowd is mostly male and the place is pretty run down. If you stay long enough though some locals may just bring in their pups! Nothing better than dogs in a bar in my opinion!“
“Good and bad things to cover, so why five stars - rated for what it is and how they perform to those standards. Easy to find and close to other bars for some fun bar hopping! Parking can be a bit tough if you are not familiar with the area. Matt’s is a dive bar vibe with enough TV’s to keep you entertained by the game. Worn but kept pretty clean!! No kitchen . Only a couple of gambling machines. The patrons were mixed between locals and people waiting for the train across the street- everyone was friendly. Kelly O the bartender did a fantastic job. The big win that impressed me was a big crowd came in and the owner jumped in and helped unlike most places where they let the bartender drown and the customers suffer. Great job Matt’s and Kelly O??“
“A great small looking Dive Bar where people can hang around and that is in a real remote isolated part of crystal lake. The bartender gave good service and this place had an overall rule Wisconsin look and I'm surprised Crystal Lake and the Chicago suburbs still has taverns remaining such as this“
“We had pizza, burgers, nachos and fish.Everything was delicious.Nice place. I would like some low top seating. All seats are tall bar stools.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible. All tall bar stool seating. Some may have trouble with this.Picnic tables outside“
“Really cannot rate the food yet, as we just went there for some wine. This establishment serves whisky (bourbon, Scotch, Irish whisky, Japanese whisky, and Tennessee whisky) and wines.Wine tastings are available for about $20-$45. Membership not needed. The bartender, Ashley, was a fully-rated whisky sommelier, and was very knowledgeable about most of their 200-plus bottles. We will plan to host an event here in April and should have more info then.“
“It's a small bar on the corner of Berkshire and Virginia Rd. Cutoff. I didn't get the chance to order food. Good place to grab a drink. It has a patio/deck for outside seating. Limited seating at bar, some table seating offered. When I went, the place was full in the parking lot and full inside. I remember this place being the old Frank N Stein. Its interesting what they did to the place and from what I remembered of business that use to be in there. Stop in and have a drink or nibble... It's a small interesting place. Update 03/08/2023 - Had Italian Beef, Fries and tatter tots... Excellent. Long Island ice teas are a great finisher. ?“
“Passing threw and stopped by, place isn't bad has the "hole in the wall feel" I had a couple drinks 3$ for a old style draft 22oz and $6 fully loaded bloody Mary with titos. Prices decent Julie was a fun bar tender. If I was a local I'd probably wash my alcohalism here on a semi regular basis.“
“Great food , great service Called for a reservation to come and see our favorite band playing " Acoustiholics". Katie was nice and polite and said she would talk to manager and save us a table of 5. Shelley was there when we got there. She may be the manager /owner. Super nice she was very helpful. We had a great time“
“What a wonderful experience I had stopping in at Offie's Tap today. Jenee, the bartender, was stellar in her performance, Timely service, excellent pours, and great conversation! Offie's got lucky when they landed Jenee! Thank you Jenee!!“
