Worst place I've ever been to. I didn't even try to get my money back. We threw away our food and left. The owner is very rude, you can't even ask for the price of a slice of cheesecake without the dude getting pissy. The meat, both philly and burger SMELLED rancid, and tasted as if it were sitting in room temp all day only one of our meals had fries, and the special for the week was not added. The only thing remotely edible was maybe the fries and soda. Never again. I repeat this place is terrible.

After a disappointing lunch in Lake Geneva the week before, We decided to stop in Woodstock for lunch. For less than half of what we spent in Lake Geneva, we had an excellent lunch at Beef Village.

I used to go here all the time as a kid growing up in Woodstock. I was recently back in town and decided to give it another try. It completely holds up to my memory of the restaurant! What was even more exciting was what I decided to order off the menu... A sloppy joe sandwich and waffle fries! Where else can you order THAT in a drive thru??? Not only that, but the sloppy joe was sooooooo good. Big ol' pieces of onions and green peppers. Seriously well made. Not just loose meat on a bun. The waffle fries are a staple here and are always crisp and hot. THE BEST!!
