Never been here before as I was passing through this town for work. What a complete waste of $10. I would have had more satisfaction sitting in a gas station toilet eating a gas station hotdog. The bartender Dallas walked by me atleast 8 times like I was a mirage and then I watched while he lit half of a nasty cigarette up behind the bar and took two shots with guests. How in the world does this place have more than 2 stars. Granted , the other bartender was getting cussed out by some special needs person but even she did not once even greet me, i understand like 5 min without a greet but I sat there for almost 20 min until finally some chick that apparently doesn’t even work there take my order lol. This place is a joke and if this joint is overall rated 4 stars I see why this town looks the way it does

Bought beer for me and other people their, went to my van to get money, forgot my keys inside, went to get my keys and was silently approached and threatened by an employee, acused of trying to break into my own van by the staff and the regulars, having used to be an officer and buying other people's beer still abused of breaking in cars.

Did a speed bar crawl in downtown Anderson. This was the best one for what I was looking for. Just older crowd with a nice bartender and good chit chat. There is a pool table area in there. Looked clean and nice.
Went to three other places and mostly young kids. The cigar bar looked intriguing but didn’t stop in.

Just another dive, maybe a little bigger than most. The food is the same as any other crummy little bar. It will help you survive the day, but it's no Point or Thunderbird or Abel's in terms of food and service. Don't expect a warm welcome if you're a stranger. This definitely isn't Cheers, though I wonder if that's what they think they have. All in all, I think downtown Anderson deserves better.

My friend and I shared a breaded tenderloin. It could be split four ways. It is huge. We ordered it deluxe not realizing that their deluxe has ketchup and mustard added as well. We asked for another setup without the ketchup and mustard to eat our sandwich. They replaced it no problem. We also shared an order of potato skins. I suggest to asked for an extra sour cream packet before you even start, one package is not enough even if you hardly use any.We sat at the bar and got excellent service.
