I have frequented this place and I was very excited when McAlister's came to Anderson. I don't know if the Sunday team is not trained like the others but today's experience was below par. My husband went in to get us lunch around 11am. No potatoes were available at that time! He ordered a wrap instead of a sandwich, but when he got it home - it was on bread NOT a wrap. We long awaited McAlister’s coming to Anderson, and I’m excited they are here. After a few opening glitches, all taken care of by competent management, they’re now the quality I’ve come to expect from other locations. Consistent menu with so many options, especially the pick two 1/2s where you can make an almost limitless variety of options. A bit pricier than than other fast food but worth it for homemade taste and generous portions.

My friend and I met tonight (1/2/25) to catch up and had a wonderful experience. I ordered a half salad and half sandwich. My friend's food came quickly, but mine was taking a little longer. We were enjoying our chat, so didn't mind the wait. The manager (whose name I didn't catch!!), came out and let me know he had searched the entire store, but they were out of the gluten free bread I had requested on my half sandwich.
