It was an overall excellent evening, celebrating my birthday ! The food was on par and always is. To start, we enjoyed a salmon avocado roll, next was cioppino (superb), followed by sinful butter cake! Thanks to Andrew, Arianna, David, Greg, Madison, and Nancy for being so kind, providing fantastic service , and making it a memorable evening ! Thank you all ! Nick's MB is consistently delicious, and the staff, amazing. I highly recommend dining here ! PS The bar area is lots of fun too.

Food exceed our expectations. Service was below average. Our waiter acted as if it was an inconvenience to refill our ice teas when empty and was less than friendly during our meal service. Only at the end of our meal, did our waiter become friendly. We assumed this was because he expected a large tip. Overall, we wouldn't chose to dine at this restaurant again due to the service or lack of.

Normally Nick's is rock-solid, but it was a miss last night. I was there for a business meeting and food for my guest was brought out in 10 minutes. My order came out about 20 minutes later, making his food cold. The server quipped "you can just eat slowly". They said my order was sent to another table, and that was the cause. Nothing was offered to so my guest could enjoy his meal hot. The server most likely didn't say anything to a manager, because no one came over. Not a good showing for Nick's- Manhattan Beach.

Being creatures of habit, we tend to always get the same or similar meals at Nicks. They're always good. Our server, Theo, was excellent. He is superior at his job.

We had an amazing lunch here. We were comfortable sitting outside with a warmer on and view of the ocean. Enjoyed Sancere, spicy tuna roll sushi and a FABULOUS Sea Bass with yummy mashed potatoes. We were completely satisfied splitting the meal and tempted by their DELICIOUS butter Pound cake regardless! Highly recommend this place!!
