San Jose Mexican Bar & Grill

We found this place a few months ago, it is our absolute favorite. We have tried many things off the menu and have never had anything we dislike! We love the chips and salsa and the food is very authentic. I really love the red sauce they use and even the rice is yummy!
The staff is very friendly and inviting which makes you want to come back. We live in Muncie and visit at least once a week and sometimes two! We Love, love love this place!!!! 😋❤️

We stopped by here for dinner last night while on a road trip. We're always a little hesitant to try a place with few reviews but decided to give it a chance. So glad we did!

First off our server Alma was fantastic and very sweet. We really liked the food and everything was so fresh. The salsa sauce was one of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. They also have a great Margarita menu with large sizes.

The new and only Mexican restaurant 😋 for us! Everything was muy deliciosa! This is a new weekly obsession! Birria tacos were great, shrimp ceviche wonderful! Chile poblanos also were great. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic flavors, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Alma was our server, and she always find something new for me to try. I almost couldn't believe it when they had jaimaica as a drink option!
Best place in this whole area for authentic hospitality and food!

I forgot to post pictures because the food was so amazing, it was gone before I realized I should have taken them. I came in for lunch, a treat for me because I work long hours. I didn't realize this place was here, but now that I do, I will only be dining here. I had the Carne Asada with a nice glass of chilled Merlot. The service was just as amazing as was the music and everyone dining here greeted the staff as they walked in. Very personal and locally run. This was very satisfying and made my day. Thank you!

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Anderson. This place won’t make you sick like the other ones. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Chipotle fajitas, chimichangas, torta ahogada, and guacamole have all been great! Can’t wait to try more!

We where in Town for a concert and googled this place, went because of it high rating. It's great! Great everything! We live 2 hours away, but anytime we get close we'll be back! Highly Recommend!

Great place to eat Mexican food if you love going to Mexican restaurants. They have good choices of Mexican food.
