Great meal to celebrate a birthday with family! Shrimp and chips were delicious as always!

I doubt anyone will want to eat here when the advertising photos of the chicken soup and pie have barefeet on the floor in the photo. Looks like someone is cooking out their personal home kitchen and we ALL know you can't just be eating everyone's food. Next time maybe crop the bare feet out the pic before posting.

Ordered the Irish Whiskey Steak because I have gotten it before and it was very good. This time I ordered Medium Rare to Rare(this translates to Warm Red Center) and it was more like Medium(Pink). It was also very gristly. This cut of meat should have never been offered. Our waiter was okay, but very slow. Questioning whether or not to go back again.

As always the food was excellent and the service was too. Tonights entertainment was a great Irish Trad group and we loved it.

Drove here for my birthday meal. Did not disappoint! I had the Guiness pork chop and my wife had the burger. Both amazing, and our bartender made a spectacular “Rusty Nail” for my dessert!

We had the Tavern Burger with fries, the Bumbleshoots, and Fried Okra Remoulade. Enjoyed our meal and the time at McGee's!

The food was delicious and the service was fast, friendly and professional. What really made the evening special was the live entertainment provided by David Strang! Great mix of covers and some fabulous originals.

Great food, not too busy and a terrific waitress! It had been a while since we went to McGee's, but it was a treat! We won't wait so long next time!

Service was exceptional with great Irish pub inspired food choices, good beer & wine selection.

Place looks cool. It plays off the Irish wanting a pub to feel like an extension of your living room. If so, can we get some more comfortable seating? Put pads on the benches. I know you want to turn tables, but if it's not comfortable at all, then people won't want to come back. Sercixe was great. Almost checked on us too much. Food was presented well. I went with Irish stew and was a little disappointed. It was average. Not enough seasoning. Either lower the price or increase the portion. I'd never pay $23 for that again. The Guiness was poured well and my GF had a NA Gujness which was a good offering. (She's pregnant.) She liked her burger and fries. We will give this place another shot. I've been to N Ireland. I have friends there. We support the Ulster side. I've also eaten at a few places there. I know this place has some work to do, but hopefully, can achieve it. I'd love to put this place on rotation. We've only been here a cpl months and are trying everywhere,lol

This little spot was perfect for us and our family after traveling to Anderson for a Clemson game. The food was great- the people were friendly and the atmosphere was cool!

The food was fantastic! We all had different entrees, and the nightly special was very good-the tuna over coconut rice! Great atmosphere at McGees-always fun to sit outside and dine on a beautiful evening!

Excellent restaurant. We has Shepard pie and fish and chips. The outdoor patio is super and the food presentation is amazing. The patio bar tender and waiter among the most enthusiastic Haversian ever seen!

Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable about the food served. The shrimp & grits and onion soup was delicious. The fish & ships were very good too. Loved the atmosphere!

Our first time dining at this gem tucked back in downtown Anderson. We had an excellent experience at McGee's Scot-Irish Pub in Anderson, South Carolina. Loved the atmosphere and design inside and out! All staff was great, server friendly, upbeat and attentive, food was phenomenal (the skillet hush puppies were BOMB). I had Bangers and Mash and my husband had the Irish Whiskey Steak - cooked to perfection! We HIGHLY recommend them and will definitely be back.
