I've been vegan for many years, always felt left out living in rural Indiana with the only vegan restaurant nearby being in Fort Wayne, which I very very rarely make the drive to. Having Rooted open just a few minutes drive from my house was the best things to happen to me relating to my veganism! I hope Rooted and its amazing owners have many many years of success! We love this place. We go there at least 2 days a week. Food is fresh and boldly spiced - highly recommend the Nashville hot, the chik’n bac’n ranch, the pepper crusted bowl, and the nachos/queso - seriously the nacho cheeze they use is better than almost any real nacho cheese I’ve had. The chick’n caesar is our new favorite though, just absurdly flavorful - one of the better caesar dressings I’ve had, genuinely. And it has capers! Food was delicious and we would highly recommend this place!! We stopped in when traveling and it was very convenient. The restaurant was adorable and the staff were lovely. If you’re in the area- you have to try it!
