We love Taxman, a big fan and frequent often...whenever we visit our daughter at college. However, I took my daughter out on Valentine's Day. Reservations made, and fully expected we would receive the same food expectations as we have always had. Taxman never disappoints! The food is delicious, the beer is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is energetic but still manages to be cozy. We rarely travel through Indiana without a visit to this quaint little town!
We love this place and we're glad to see a menu update with some healthier items. Ordered the half roast chicken. Our very attentive server let us know that others had complained of redness by the bones and dark meat. That did not deter me since that's what to expect with a half roasted chicken. What came to the table was good but it had no bones and no dark meat It was nicely seasoned but slightly dry white meat chicken. The gravy improved the taste and the chicken...
