“The best customer service and best tasting cakes we have ever had! We will not give anyone else our business when it comes to cakes/cupcakes for parties! Liz is dedicated to her profession and takes pride in her work. The most recent cake she completed for us was for my husband’s 50th birthday and she did a phenomenal job! I emailed what I was wanting and what my husband likes, and she took it from there. Liz and her husband Mike are so easy to work with: prompt responses to emails and phone calls. 100% recommend!!!”

“This is my wife's favorite tea room (and she's tried most in Indy and compares them to one she had in London). Knowing that, I called Rustic Root to host her birthday party. Most of the people invited had never experienced a high tea. Everyone loved it! The food was delicious and filling. The staff, especially our server Ashlynn, was nothing short of amazing. We had a few minor adjustments that she and Jenny were very quick to accomodate. She was on top of we needed anything at all and was still asking what else we needed. She also took pictures and videos during the event so no one had to be a designated photographer in the family. Cannot recommend the experience enough. Highly recommend Rustic Root for parties and events!”

“Cute ice cream shop connected to the tea shop. They have good hours and the ice cream parlor is clean and cute. Costumer service was excellent and they even figured out how to do something they haven't done before for the gentleman in front of me. My ice cream was fine and as of now they have limited flavors. However they do have some Lemonade and tea that I'll probably try in the future.”

“Absolutely love the pumpkin pancakes so much, that I get them every visit! And summer the lemon blueberry. We ask for Layla every time, she knows what we drink and brings them before we ever ask. She jokes with my husband which he loves. She's funny, super sweet and such a great waitress. We've been coming here for a few months now, after leaving another pancake place, because of the food and service here. We bring all of out out of town guests here and upon a return visit this is where they want to come. Layla makes each visit the best part of our day!”

My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit.
