Incredibly cozy vibe and I really liked how it felt just like a living room to study in.Cashier made no attempt to get to know me or make conversation, despite me saying I just moved here, I like loose leaf, etc. Only had almond milk despite have 5 milks listed, and it's clear people don't really do take-out here. There's nowhere to stand while you wait and you can't order ahead (I guess grub hub?). Tea doesn't seem to have an identification system on the shelves so it's not organized by type or caffeine level, hard to track. The tea was incredibly weak and bland, no sugar flavour beyond almond milk and honestly dirt. I ordered the two most popular chais-masala and pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice was mildly better but not by much. I ended up pouring both down the drain.I'll probably visit one more time to stay and study, and maybe try a fruitier tea but I don't have high hopes.

Best tea shop I’ve ever been too. The quality of tea, the knowledgeable staff and expert brewing. WOW. Definitely go.

Great tea selection with friendly staff. I haven't tried their food selection, but I'm willing to come over and over again just for the tea!The vibe is also very chill and relaxing. Definitely a great place to have a conversation or study/read.

02-06-22 A friend and I were craving a good cup of hot tea and stopped in around 5:30. A friendly woman let us know that they’d been closed but invited us in still. She said that she would be there awhile anyways and she proceeded to show us the menu. The environment of Bloomingtea was peaceful and homely and the sun shining through the windows was just beautiful. The tea was aromatic, delicious, and hot on a cold day. It was my first visit but I can say with certainty it won’t be my last. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy quality tea, Bloomingtea is the place to be.

Great study space. Love the atmosphere and kind service. While the tea selection is vast, their menu is outdated and a number of teas aren't in stock but are still advertised. Also noticed that food prep in the kitchen was being done without gloves and there was a lot of touching of items, adjusting mask, etc. Would appreciate if they made a distinction between home-made items and items that are simply bought and plated.

Lovely little shop to come relax and enjoy some tea.

Had a high tea party for my 10 year old. Wonderful staff that were attentive, kind and patient. Finger sandwiches, tea and sweets made a fantastic afternoon for our family and friends.

So Bloomington. Quaint house with plenty of indoor room to sit at what reminds me of a beloved family member's house. There are SO MANY teas to pick from. The ?barista? helped me choose for my husband and he loved it. It was called hu-kwa lapsang souchong and it smelled like a campfire and very earthy. He loved it. I had orange Cinnamon sencha which was great, although my very favorite was market spice, although it had more caffeine and I didnt need it that day vs the orange Cinnamon which was green tea based. I may just become a tea junkie because of this place!

It's very cozy and quiet. There are some outlets. Good for study. Muffins are tasty, too.

Was excited for a drink, but left immediately after seeing the girl working behind the counter wasn’t wearing a mask while serving customers. Disappointing to see in the middle of the pandemic with an active mask mandate in Bloomington.

The ambiance is peaceful and good but the service is not consistent or helpful.

I’m a fan of hole in the walls and love places like this normally. This was not one of those place for me though. Although the prices are good, the drinks are made using sink water. They were happy to return my money, thankfully, but I was super disappointed. I also noticed that the place was pretty unsanitary. I went to the bathroom and it wasn’t cleanly. I normally don’t note this type of content but it was just apparent . I’d give it another shot if I knew that the water was clean and the place just cleaned up a bit better too.I can’t say anything about the products because I didn’t drink anything, but they had many options. Pastries as well. Good music-quiet oldies. Lots of good reviews on here, so give it a try if the things I mentioned aren’t a big deal to you.

Amazing study spot for students. They have a parking lot in the pack, so you don't have to worry about street parking. You can get a good size pot of tea brought to your table for like $6 with its own warming candle, and just grind on homework for hours. Lots of space. Very warm and cozy.
