I really enjoy the food here, especially their queso. I feel like the queso is creamier and more flavorful than Chipotle's.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great decor. The protein options are plenty and tasty. Bangin' $2 tacos on Tuesday. Reminds me of La Bamba's {Burritos As Big As Your Head} from back in the day. Happy to have Chubbies in our dining community in Bloomington.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level restaurant with no steps at the front door.

So yeah, this is the worst restaurant of this type I've ever been to. The meat was just weird, gross, and over salted. Sure the portions are large but it is so bland and lackluster. Chips are thick and hard, not the good thin kind like other places. The menu is kind of hard to figure out the order of operation, not super clear how to order what. There's no hot sauce on the tables so you have to have them add it when they make it, which is weird. I was just massively underwhelmed.

Sadly, I got food poisoning from some lack luster, extremely pricey birria burritos from here. The flavor was almost bland, a serious let down considering the ENORMOUS portions. While they provide a LOT of food stuffed into their custom burritos, the quality of the meat and the seasoning wasn't up to standard. I'd recommend other places and just grab their chips and queso, which were tasty (but equally as pricey!)

When to Chubbies after closing the Vid. It's nice to have a late night burrito option. The staff was friendly if blurry. I ordered a steak burrito which probably saved my life, delicious but messy as I woke up the next morning with beans in my bed.

I’ve tried to go 3 times since they’ve opened. Every time was within the hours they have posted that they are open. They’ve never actually been open. This time I got there 2 hours before they were supposed to close. They had the sign with the normal hours out front, but “holiday” hours on the door (it wasn’t a holiday). I was still 20 minutes before the new closing time, and someone was inside cooking, but the door was locked. I hear the burritos are decent, but I guess I’ll never get to try one. I won’t try again.

Great tasting food with very good prices to match. My 2 young daughters love eating in, due to their awesome atmosphere and cool space like swing seats up front.I highly recommend dining it.Kid-friendliness: They love it.

The food was pretty good, the atmosphere, not inviting. We came in on a Friday around 9pm. There was not many customers. There was an older lady working not in a uniform, not sure if she’s owner or a manger but she was not friendly. We paid $40 for a burrito and a bowl. One had guac added and the other no extras. She said in Spanish after we paid, to the cashier, that she didn’t charge us enough rudely (I guess she didn’t realize my boyfriend spoke Spanish even though he ordered in Spanish lol). The food was good but we dined in, and the music was so loud at one point we couldn’t even have a conversation. I would suggest if you go here, get it to go and don’t expect friendly service.

Unique build your own burrito place.Make sure you read the menu in full be for building your burrito, if you don’t you may end up with a $30 burrito with out realizing it lol. I found the burrito (2) I got to be filling. There massive but not very flavorful. I do not recommend trying to eat more then 1 at a time. If I had told them ahead of time I was going to do a review might of been better lol. If your out on a pub crawl there open to 3am. They will need to increase there flavor to be a winner in my book. I also got tamales. They were dry and I recommend adding something to them but they don’t tell you that. They play the music so loud you can barely here the person asking what you want. The lady working there was nice and friendly , she can sing well. Will try again but not on the plans for soon. I recommend doing some research on there menu and burrito combinations be-for trying this place will lead to a better exp!!Vegetarian options: Can safely eat a filling vegetarian meal here!!Dietary restrictions: Do to it being a build your own I would say yes. Because you control what you eat :)Parking: Curb side , or couple blocks away at the square. Definitely limited.Kid-friendliness: Not really , more for collage kids and adults.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes , should find it easy to access, aside from parking

I normally order door dash from here and food is always good. We decided to stop by and eat at the restaurant. Server ignored us for about 3 minutes then just looked at us. She started our order then turned us over to a young man who did not understand English and kept speaking Spanish to us. This went on through out the order.I don't understand how they understand the door dash order just fine but face to face don't understand a word of English....it felt like reverse racism. We won't be going back, I am not racist and don't expect it turned on me. My suggestion is the employees learn English as they're living in America!

It's a bright retro designed diner, with colorful wall art. The food is simply wonderful, we ordered the pozole and a tamale. The tamale masa was to die for, which can make or break a tamale. Splendid! The pozole was great, flavorful and rich. We dined in, many of the regulars and students practiced their Spanish with the staff, I found it endearing and sweet.

Food was pretty good. Nothing is clearly marked especially if you are looking for vegetarian options. Some of the options I avoided because the food looked suspect. The vegetables were big and chunky not good for tacos or nachos. A little expensive for what it is. They need to adopt just a couple things from Qdoba and Chipotle on presentation, ingredients choices, etc.
