I had such a great experience at the Hoosier Bar And Grill today! I have Alpha-Gal, so I have severe allergies and Emily was incredible! She was so accommodating and put my mind at ease. She really went above and beyond. I would highly suggest checking this place out!
We showed up at 6:55pm. Order taken at 7:02pm. At 7:40 left family side and spoke to bartender. Advised they were trying and she’d let them know we ordered 40 minutes earlier. After inquiring, waitress finally got me a sweet tea refill after 45 minutes. She said the food would be out soon. I told by brother and his wife that we’d leave if we didn’t receive our food after an hour from when it was ordered. At 8pm my son called and spoke to me until 8:04pm. Hoosier Bar & Grill is a two-sided restaurant, offering a kid-free bar area and a family-friendly room with a great ambiance. While the service can be slow at times, the staff are excellent and incredibly accommodating. The food is a highlight, particularly the giant, tender, and delicious pork tenderloin. The breaded pork tenderloin sandwich is also a standout, praised for its tender texture, seasoning, and huge portions. The bourbon burger is amazing. Bosco sticks are mind-blowing. Overall, it is a great spot for a meal with excellent, flavorful, and juicy food that is clearly freshly cooked.
