Hoosier Hank's (East)

One of my favorite places to grab a beer and pizza. Staff is always incredible and food is always good. The pepperoni pizza rolls are one of the best items on the menu. Great 2 watch a game.

I was disappointed. I was one of around 10 people in the whole place with 2 servers and it took me 45 mins to get my meal and it was wrong. (Five piece boneless buffalo wings and fries - instead got 3 buffalo and 2 barbecue wings and the fries came out 5 mins later.) I don’t know if they just had a lot of mobile orders but it was just not ideal that it took so long for my food and it 1) didn’t all come out at the same time and 2) wasn’t correct. Btw I didn’t tell the server that it was wrong because after they brought my food I didn’t see them until they brought my check and I was afraid of it taking any longer.

Food is very mediocre… everything is freezer to table to appears. Sliders are boring bread is cold and hard. Wings are saucy- not crispy. Meaty though !
Onion rings are mostly breading onion inside very mushy. I am
sure very fun when events are happening. Server/bartender very nice .

The food and drinks were decent. However, there were only two servers for a busy restaurant. Dirty plates remained on the bar for more than 30 minutes. It wasn’t due to a lack of effort. They just didn’t have enough staff. It’s a management issue. The bar was cluttered, and one end seemed to be serving as an office for the manager. It wasn’t a pleasant atmosphere.

I really don’t know what to say. Tonight they would have been better hanging a sign on the door saying “you’ll have better luck at the Taco Bell drive thru”.

Went tonight for carry out for 1st time. Food took over 1 hour to get and we ended up throwing most of it away as it was awful. Do not go.

We are in town for the weekend for a game and decided to give this place a try because everywhere was booked. There were only 3 employees working in the entire restaurant and they were trying their best, but this was not a good experience. We were sat and didn’t get to order drinks for a long time. They were out of almost all of the domestic bottled beers, but were kind and trying their best. We ordered food and waited at least an hour for our food. When our food came out, the server (who I believe is actually a kitchen employee) just put the tray on the table next to us and didn’t say anything to our table and walked away. We thought he was getting the rest of the food but never returned. Another employee brought out our salad and the buffalo mac entree. The salad had no dressing and the buffalo Mac was not fully done. My husband went in search of dressing for the salad and they said they were out of ranch (which they did not mention when we ordered) at this point he also asked to pay for our food because we didn’t know when we would see an employee again. The wings that we ordered came out with 4 traditional wings and the rest chicken tenders. They did give us a big discount on our bill, but the experience was not good. I do want to say that the employees were obviously overwhelmed with the situation. I felt very bad for them, but there is a SERIOUS management issue and they probably should have closed early at that point.

Food better than average for bloomington. Over 1 hr wait for a burger and fries when it wasn't even half full. Unacceptable, a good restaurant which is completely mismanaged.

The first time we ordered from Hanks, the mac bowls and pizza were great. Just ordered again tonight and was very disappointed. Toppings on pizza (chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken) and mac bowl were sparse. Mac was dry — more like just mac and no cheese. It’s hard to understand how the food can be so inconsistent between two visits. Not sure we’ll eat there again. $84 is a LOT for a meal that was only MEH.

Had a large group of HS boys and parents for event at Hank’s! Benny, Sam and staff worked hard to stay in front of hungry boys. All food was great! Pizza, macaroni, wings and especially the pepperoni rolls were great.
Definitely will come back and order for take out.

We both had the stromboli, one of us had onion rings and One had fries. We took most of our meals home, as the serving size was large. It was awesome! Fries are always a hit and onion rings were 5☆. Thank you for another great meal!

I had a buffalo wrap and Mac n cheese. Both were delicious! The ice tea was the real thing too!

The food took a little long to come out be when it did it was piping hot! The menu has a nice variety of choices and The service was great and and very attentive. Me and my wife look forward to eating here again.
