This is not a good hotel if you’re breastfeeding. The mini fridge in my room wasn’t keeping anything cool. I waited 1.5 hours for maintenance to come and they didn’t - I left. When I returned the fridge was *slightly* cooler but still not cold enough to keep breastmilk at a safe temperature. The front desk staff didn’t care. I had to orchestrate everything myself in order to keep my son’s milk from not being contaminated. I gave them something to put in the freezer, six hours later it wasn’t anywhere near frozen. I have strong doubts they did this. I was getting up in the middle of the night and getting extra ice just to keep my milk cold. The rooms were fine and the location is great - but I would warn anyone traveling with a baby or who relies on a fridge to keep medicine cold!

Badly in need of a renovation. Understaffed and overworked, but friendly. TV didn't work, can lights sticking out of bathroom ceiling, trim pealing...Noteworthy details: Staff works very hard with little management support. One bartender/front desk worker on a March Madness Friday night!?

Check in experience was awful. Upon entering the hotel from the parking garage, we followed the signs directing us to the lobby where there were no attendants and signs showing express check out. We waited for 10 minutes while there were workers at the bar chatting with patrons. After realizing we were standing there someone finally came to help (we would have got someone’s attention had we thought they were hotel desk staff and not restaurant staff). We booked through a 3rd party site and the hotels system did not recognize the card we had on file. This wouldn’t have been an issue but it took another 25 minutes for the issue to be resolved while there were people crowding the lobby and children running around without their parents. The rooms however are nice, the bathrooms are not something you wouldn’t find in a holiday inn but the rooms themselves are cozy and nice.Overall, for the price we paid with the service we received, I don’t think we’ll be choosing this hotel again.

Nearly was charged twice on a reservation. Rooms were smaller than motel 6 and $300 difference per night.

Exceptional Value and Comfort at Hyatt Place Bloomington, INDuring my recent stay at the Hyatt Place in Bloomington, Indiana, I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding value and enhanced amenities like the 24 hour gym, especially throughout the weekdays. My experience was further elevated over the weekend with noticeably upgraded breakfast selection that went above and beyond the usual weekday breakfast offerings, setting a delightful start to the weekend. The hotel's prime location cannot be overstated. Nestled in the heart of Bloomington, it boasts an exceptional walkability score, allowing for effortless exploration of the charming town and convenient access to the campus. This feature alone makes it a top choice for those seeking the pulse of the city. The attention to detail in the design of the rooms did not go unnoticed. The space is not only well-maintained but also showcases a thoughtful design that is spacious and functional, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable which adds to the favorably of rebooking a second stay here.Additionally, the variety of parking options available was a welcome convenience, removing any potential stress about vehicle security and accessibility. In summary, the Hyatt Place Bloomington delivers a harmonious blend of value, comfort, and convenience, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to my next visit.Rooms: Great layout and well kept furniture. Rooms are clean and spacious.Walkability: Close to everything downtown Bloomington. Short walk to IUB campus.Food & drinks: The breakfast offerings are much better over the weekend here. Lots of protein options and the breakfast bar is well managed.

The location on Kirkwood can’t be beat. The room was clean enough. When we checked I. There was no toilet paper. It felt like a college dorm room. The walls were paper thin and we heard people all night and all morning as if in our own room… doing… Beer cases sat in hallway. The checkin person was left alone on a Saturday night and she was not a people person so we had to try several times to get what we needed. The bed slept well.

Very good experience. Floors and rooms clean as a whistle, two bottles of water, complementary, in my room and a bathtub! It came handy after a long day on my feet. Special thanks to staff for keeping my luggage and food safe for a short time one morning.Rooms: Comfortable. I loved the bathtub.Walkability: Close to every good restaurant and easy walking distance to campus.Food & drinks: There is a bar when you can order some drink, but no real food. Chips and choleate bar. The lemon & cucumber water in the lobby was much appreciated after long walks, too.
