My husband has been going to this ice cream shop ever since he was a little boy with his parents. We are so glad we were able to stop by as a treat after dinner after 30+ years. As someone who is dairy-free, I do appreciate that there are options for me. They have vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, which is what I ordered. My husband and mother-in-law ordered the pumpkin ice cream with chocolate fudge on the side. My dairy-free ice cream had just enough sweetness for me and it was creamy and held a nice consistency. It was my first time here and staff was nice and friendly. It also was not busy when we went, which made getting in and out of there easy. I highly recommend if you’re looking for ice cream in Bloomington! Especially, even just for a “jiffy.”

Service was fine and atmosphere wasn't bad or anything... The ice cream was just a huge let down. I ordered a small cheesecake and cherry "cyclone" and it tasted aweful. The cheesecake tasted freezer burnt and I couldn't even taste the cherry. Super overpriced and kinda ridiculous that you can't order a junior size with additional mix ins for seemingly no reason. Super overpriced for what it was. Maybe their other flavors taste okay but that actually ruined my day.

The young ladies working tonight (9/26) around 8:30 pm were very rude and dismissive. They were not friendly and seemed bothered that we wanted to order ice cream. They were also eating ice cream will working, and quite frankly that in itself ruined the experience for my friends and I. We were scared to go up and even order our ice cream because of the way they were staring at us. This is their job!?! Please work on customer service.

Didn’t bother ordering after walking in with 3 ppl working and no smiles or hellos, just got an eye roll when we said hi first time here…and they were too busy eating to even clean. Not willing to spend money at a place that can’t be bothered to have employees who wipe down the counters or even try to assist customers. Plus the eye roll…life’s hard enough kiddo so maybe not make it harder.

Just aggravated to find out they don't take crimson card pay anymore. Since it said on the website that you take it as payment and it's been posted on the door as acceptable payment.
Place was dirty, staff didn’t seem to care to be there. Asked for something the other jiffy treats have and got treated like crap cause they didn’t have it.
