This was the worst meal of my life. I couldn’t even eat it as the beef was too rubbery, egg roll my mouth insanely dry, and the crab Rangoon was made in burnt oil (and the sauce tasted like cleaning supplies??). this is the first time I’ve felt the need to leave a bad review.

Just moved to town and are always on the lookout for good American Chinese restaurants. Decided to give Sunny Palace a try, and will definitely go back! Ordered take-out and arrived a bit early so also scoped out the interior, which is well laid out and seemed recently updated. The staff were warm and prompt. We ordered sweet and sour chicken with white rice and Chicken pad thai. Both were delicious!

Had take out and the dishes we ordered were really dry. Vegetable lomein was extremely dry and only had a few pieces of broccoli in it. Mala crispy chicken had no sauce at all on it! Garlic chicken was good.

This has been completely remodeled. The food is very good and piping hot when brought to table.

We decided to try this place on a Wednesday evening And we are glad we did. The food was very good. We had the crab Rangoon appetizer, which was very good. It was small and crispy and looks handmade. We also ordered the egg roll appetizer. I did not care for the flavor of the eggrolls. There was a flavor that did not taste like a normal egg roll. I ordered the shrimp and vegetables, which was excellent and delicious. The shrimp was large and tasty, and it was cooked perfectly and there was not too much salt in it. I would definitely order this again. My boyfriend had Hunan chicken and he asked for extra mushrooms and no broccoli and they were happy to do that. He said it was very good. The ambiance was not that great but they did have very comfortable booths for seating. We were the only people in the restaurant besides the two women who work there and three children that were eating at a large round table an assortment of Chinese food. They did a lot of takeout business while we were there but I think people should definitely try going here to eat in. The service was fairly good once someone came over to the table. She was preoccupied with something at the front desk at first, and I went up there and told her we were ready to order. All was well. Nice waitress. All in all, I would say, give this restaurant a try the food is excellent and it's definitely worth going here. We will be returning.

I wanted some good duck, they had good duck. A tad expensive, but not everything is. All around good experience.

This place is one of my wife's favorite restaurants in Bloomington. They sell some exotic Chinese foods as well, which also taste good. The lady is really kind and friendly to my family every time.

This place is one of my favorite Chinese spots in town. I order takeout from them pretty often and never have any complaints about the food. The Lo Mein is heavy on garlic, but that's not really a problem for me. I have tried every Pork Belly dish on their menu and all of them have been great!

The best item was the white rice! I ordered rangoons -hard, stale and tasteless, tofu broccoli -slightly weird taste, but mostly tasteless, and lo mein -meh, along with a coke -2.00 for a 16.9 oz. I'll order Chinese elsewhere!!

Very extensive menu with both American style and traditional Chinese style options. Enjoyed my lunch.

The original management of Sunny a palace is back in Bloomington. The food, the service and the portions are great. Loved the sub gum wonton soup that I ordered!

Got hungry after a movie so I went there with my friend thinking they would have some good Chinese food. But I was disappointed! The dishes look so dry and not fresh. Won’t go there again.
