There were plenty of vegetarian options. However, I was not sure about some ingredients since their names were unique. There was a nice live music.

We enjoyed the Sunday brunch in mid December. We made a reservation but it was not necessary as we were one of maybe 4 tables at 10:15am. After being seated it took 10-15 minutes to get our cream for our coffee. It would actually be more convenient to have cream at the water and coffee station that we could have gotten it for ourselves. Besides being seated and having our dirty plates cleared away, the servers were not needed. The food was hot and delicious with a lot of variety. We were so full we didn’t enjoy the dessert table but it looked great!Music would have been nice. Someone sat at the piano for a minute but that was it.Overall, 4 stars. It is pricey so I wished the servers were more attentive.

The food was ok but I don’t know if I’ve seen a more unhurried setup. The buffet is supposed to open at 10am but it took almost a half hour more for anyone to be able to get food. They need more people or someone to actually manage the place that isn’t a student.

Always a great atmosphere, decent food but really bad service (and it's a buffet for brunch) thought I would never get a coffee

Such a place should have better food selection, but the atmosphere is interesting.

While the staff changed, the excellent food and atmosphere of the IMU Tudor Room continues. The buffet included a full salad bar, chicken pot pie, Cajan pork loin, five (5) different desserts, sweet potato/mashed potatoes, green beans (not cut), and fresh rolls. My waiter Jaydeep provided the best of "Hoosier Hospitality". My drink glass was frequently refilled. Plates from the buffet were cleared promptly, and he presented a crisp, well-groomed, and friendly appearance. The room is decorated with European tapestries, the IU school/college banners, and a well lit windows. Live piano music was played as if Hoagy Carmichael himself was performing. (Hint: Hoagy Carmichael composed the hit "Star dusk" while in Bloomington. Every time I return to Bloomington, I dine at the Tudor Room. If you want a buffet in a room that looks like a castle, you should visit as well.

To start off, the Tudor room has a great atmosphere where the interior design is unmatched by any place with a similar price range. The food menu changes daily and the weekly menus can be found online, so you can check and decide when you want to come in. The quality of the food is also good especially for a buffet, from starters to desserts.

buffet style, worlds smallest buffet though theres like 5 choices and a salad bar. super expensive which is crazy when they dont even serve you AT ALL you pour your own water and make your own waffles. there was someone playing the piano, that was nice. the room is very pretty with large tapestries. you are paying for the atmosphere and for the college not the food. I also got food poisoning. If i could give this place 0 stars i would.

The staff here are very friendly. I love the fact that they have this restaurant on campus. I will definitely have to go back for sure. However, it can get extremely busy in this restaurant.

So sad writing this review. The Tudor room used to set the standard in Bloomington for great hospitality. However it's clear that everything has changed. We had Mother's Day brunch here and were disappointed in the quality of the food (which was one step above cafeteria) along with the lack of attention to detail. There weren't tongs or spoons for certain dishes and i watched people resort to using their fingers, the gravy was before the biscuits, the deserts were reminiscent of a Wednesday night church dinner, and the shrimp were floating in a pool of mostly melted ice. To top it off service was slow and often disappearing. Our server only acknowledged one person at the table and everyone had to order their drinks through that one person to relay to her. Upon finishing our meal, our server was no where to be found. After awhile we finally got our server and our check. After running our cards, she stood over us tapping her foot watching us fill in the tip section. We felt extremely uncomfortable. For someone who grew up going to the Tudor room i was so disappointed that this was the Mother's Day experience we had. By the way if you're going to charge $55 pp for this kind of experience it better come with at least one mimosa. Pros of the experience were the fabulous piano player and the roses each mom received.

Food was tasteless, service was inept, tables were not attended. The entire experience was awful. Everything was cheap. Carrot cake from a box mix, the cheapest (and saltiest) ham they could find, dried out bagels, sloppy, self make waffles - like you get at a cheap hotel, cold fried chicken and on and on...... Meat and fish were dry, pastries were dried out, Sugar cookies looked good - were tough and tasteless. We were charged $45+ for a horrible meal. The current vender does not understand what their guests want. Do not go!!!!
