“No that's where you are wrong. No one is racist that goes to or works at the bar. ?Plenty of different races go in and out of there and have a good time. They just don't put up stupidity with anyone don't matter who you are, what color you are, what gender you are or want to be. Everyone is respectful as long as they get respect. Sorry they were taught, you treat people the way you would want to be treated. Wanna act like an animal we will treat you like one, you wanna act like a respectful person they will treat you like one. They treat people like family there.. most people that go there Love it.. but, you can have your own opinion like everyone else.To bad every bad review that's on here they have never step a foot in the place. “It's definately not closed and the folks there were very friendly. They don't serve food, but I wanted a cold beer not a cold hamburger. The owner handed me a military service coin which was more appreciated that anyone in the bar could know. I'll eat, before I go, next time. SEMPER FIDELIS!“

“We had a really nice dinner for our daughter's birthday at Evangelines. The service was lovely, we weren't rushed and the dinner was delicious. Everyone LOVED every dish served. We had a large party and they even had a Happy Birthday sign on the table. The desserts were delicious! Can't wait to make this a regular stop when we are in Tuscaloosa!“
