A Cut Above provided the food for the rehearsal dinner prior to our son's wedding. We held the event at a private residence and had 52 guests. The food was very good, they easily accommodated dietary restrictions and allergies, and the servers did a good job. They arrived on time and there were plenty of staff present.

This is not a five-star review due to some communications issues surrounding the event space. When the owner (Amy) and her staff arrived, there was significant concern over the space available to prep and plate the food. (This is a 4,000 square foot residence, with a large, high-end open kitchen.) I thought I was providing the appropriate information when the event was booked (months in advance) and I even sent a photo of the kitchen a few days in advance.

Despite that, Amy was somewhat rude and obviously dissatisfied with the space available to her. We tried our best to accommodate her needs by allowing her to set up extra tables in a laundry room and a hallway to prep and plate. By the time the guests arrived, the space situation had been the topic of conversation for a couple of hours and I was stressed out about the whole thing. I think the situation could have been avoided if someone from A Cut Above had made a quick site visit, or had provided a description of their requirements, so we could have planned in advance.

I would use A Cut Above again, but only if I was holding an event in a commercial event space with a commercial kitchen. They just did not seem able to be flexible and adjust to the private residence situation.

Tonight, my daughter and I had the BEST time at a cooking class with A Cut Above Caterer in Carmel, Indiana! From prepping to cooking in a fun and interactive environment, and finally sitting down to enjoy a delicious 4-course meal, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

I was beyond impressed with the cleanliness, professionalism, talent, service, food, and knowledge—an absolute 5-star experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Whether you’re looking for a date night, girls’ night out, birthday celebration, or just something fun to do, this is a MUST-TRY! Highly recommend! 💯🔥

This was the best food I've had in a long time! We used them for a film production, and they took excellent care of our crew. Everyone was so friendly and nice to work with, the meals were always ready on time, and they flawlessly accommodated everyone's dietary needs. I would absolutely use them again

A Cut Above is, quite literally, exactly as the name implies. We recently had catering for an entire weekend by A Cut Above, and I can't recommend them enough. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the presentation was amazing, and the folks who work here are fabulous hosts. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection; the short ribs and mashed potatoes being a personal favorite...as well as the Mac and cheese bar...and the lasagna with Italian sausage...and, well, you get it.

Had a private cooking class for 6! Amy was amazing! We did the night in Tuscany. We made Caesar salad, gnocchi, and chicken. And we had cannoli for dessert! We had a ton of fun and I would definitely do it again!

A Cut Above catered our wedding and hosted our rehearsal dinner earlier this month and everything was incredible! From the food to the service to the prompt responses of our constant questions, Shaina and the rest of the A Cut Above team were on top of everything. We wanted to serve breakfast for dinner during our reception, and we were extremely nervous about how our guest would like it. A Cut Above created the perfect menu that satisfied those that enjoyed breakfast food and those who preferred a more typical dinner time meal. We can not thank A Cut Above enough for the wonderful work they did!

A Cut Above provided catering for our wedding earlier this month and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Shaina helped make the process so easy for us, and as important as that was - the food also tastes incredible! My husband and I self-proclaim that we’re foodies and everything we ate during the tasting was amazing. I told Shaina the vision I had for the food at the wedding and she put together an amazing menu. The butternut squash soup shooters were a guest favorite! They are also very conscious of food allergies and very fairly priced for the high quality food and service you’re receiving. I can’t recommend Shaina and A Cut Above enough!

The food… oh my the food. Incredible. We knew the moment we went for the food tasting that we had made the right choice! Shaina at A Cut Above was very helpful and committed to making the food and beverage at our wedding perfect. From the Key Largo Rum Runners to the carving station, and from the wild-caught salmon to the exemplary champagne - we were 100% pleased with everything and highly recommend Shaina and A Cut Above for all your catering needs… just make sure you and your guests show up hungry!

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They changed the menus for dietary restrictions without issue.

Communication throughout the planning process was easy and efficient. Did everything via email and had great response time.

Food was amazing and the class itself was a blast. Class can be as hands-on as you need pending your experience. There are multiple staff members in the kitchen to assist.

Our original caterer quit on us 4 days before our event we'd planned for over a year. A Cut Above came to the rescue and wow'd our guests with the quality of their food. Thabk you SO MUCH for saving our family reunion, A Cut Above!!!
