I went in based on my membership on the Bar Louie app. With my app I received several emails to get a free steak or entree for Father's Day with a paid entree. My wife and I made reservations went in for our Father's Day dinner; our server was unaware of the offering and had the manager come over. We learned that all the Bar Louie locations don't participate and are not affiliated. The Manager was “very” nice taking the time to explain and offered to cover an entree. In the end I did not do the steak and paid for our entire meal. (The manager did cover one of our drinks.) Again, everyone was very nice but having the Bar Louie app and collecting points needs to be noted if you participate in their app and program. We still enjoyed the restaurant, the food was good and as said everyone was very friendly. We truly appreciated the offer and explanation but we need to be aware if you are a Bar Louie app user. Our thanks to the manager and entire team.

I visited my nephew in Indianapolis for his birthday. He wanted 2 celebrate at Bar Louie. It was 5 adults & his 2 kids. Batman W was our service; I'm assuming he was a new waiter. He took our order, never removed menus. I asked 4 coffee. He said they had 2 make some. Mind u it was 11:45 on a Sunday. Bought coffee, no sugar, no cream. I had 2 ask another server could she bring 4 me. My food was missing potatoes, my daughter whole order was wrong, no sausages was brought out but was stated on her entree. It just was a total mess. My son ordered the southern clucker. Dry as heck. Chicken look like it was 2 days old. We ate our food, because we had 2 drive back 2 Chicago. We was totally disappointed in our service & will not return. We have a bar Louie in Chicago & the food is delicious

We waited a long time to get waited on, not that big of a deal really. Ordered 2 different alcoholic beverages and they were out of both. Then ordered meal and they were out of the fish for fish and chips. THEN, tried to use INKIND to pay and was told they dont take it. We specifically went there to use the discount and then were told they had too many problems with inkind and don't take it anymore. Then remove your restaurant from the Inkind app please. Wont be going back. Overall disappointed, but our waitress was nice.

Management needs to choose their staff wisely. Alex was our server and she was extremely rude. Made the experience very unpleasant.

Very slow inattentive service. We arrive at about 7. Didn’t get asked for a drink order until 7:30. Food order didn’t come until 8. At 8:30 we asked for boxes and at 8:50 I finally went looking for our server to get the check. She didn’t divide it correctly either. I would have ordered another drink had she been around. But no, when I found her she had her back to us on the phone. Seemed upset that I would interrupt her.

There was an issue with our bill and it was a bit of a drug our process to correct it but the manager was extremely apologetic and ended up giving us a huge discount. Really appreciate what they did for us.

They did a great job with our fairly large group reservation at lunch time, allowed us to add an 11th person with no trouble, and had no issues with splitting the check. All in all it was great!
