Its handle’s, a north side staple. So it’s the best ice cream you’ve ever had in the most generous portion sizes you’ve ever seen.
Just yum!
Quick service, best ice cream. Good seasonal choices. Neat and clean, and the crowds are always good. Plenty parking. Service is always the best n sweet!
Great ice cream! Best butter pecan EVER with pecan halves, not tiny pieces, throughout. Very generous portions too. This is a must-visit location.
7 bucks for a 4 scoop ice cream flight! Can't beat that and the ice cream is very good!!
Good flavor but depends on who serves you. My two scoops (1st pictured m) was half the size of a single (2nd picture) scoop from window next door. My daughters was smaller than the size on the spoon you eat and my husband’s paper was glued to his cone
Delicious ice cream, friendly service, decent proportions, and a wide selection of flavors and various products. You must eat outside; limited seating in the shade on the north side of the building or retreat to your vehicle on hot days.
Ordered a small dish of chocolate chip cookie dough yesterday, and only got half my order. The portion was the right size, but it only contained chocolate chips. No cookie dough. Not one single piece. Not one! This is even more disappointing given I now live overseas and wanted a nice send-off before I leave to fly back home later today. I've been coming to Handel's since I was a kid (albeit Fishers location) simply because of the gobious amounts of cookie dough you would get. Now, I'm comparing Handel's against Kroger store brand?! ...and it's losing??!!

Bit pricey, good ice cream. The raspberry truffle was underwhelming, but the coconut cream, strawberry cheesecake, and chocoholic were yummy. We got the 4-scoop sampler. Outdoor seating only - some benches around the corner from the ordering window.
Parking: Lots of parking close by

Everything about our visit was great except for them being out of several flavors of ice cream. Which to me seems ridiculous. How do you run your business without your advertised products? Not the same as Popeyes being out of chicken but not that different either.
I am addicted to Chocoholic Chunk and Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Do you have recommendations for an AA class for ice cream addicts such as myself?
