La Hacienda Carmel is our go to place for dine-in and delivery Mexican food. They've always been super friendly. The food is straight forward, good quality and fresh. The menu has a large variety of items. The combo meals are favorites. Order anything with shrimp in it and you will get the sweetest, tender shrimp around.

Went here with a few girlfriends for brunch margs and tacos. This place is exactly what you'd hope it is. We took approx. 1.5 hours to even order our food because we were yapping so much, enjoying the patio and giant margaritas. Staff were friendly and understanding. I got the Al Pastor tacos and a big ole' thing of guac. Took what was left of the guac home---I don't know what kind of witchcraft they're using, but it somehow didn't turn brown after 2 days....

I’ve dined at other locations and have had similar experience with service. Staff is abundant but seem to prioritize socializing and being their phone. 3 stars for food is because they got my order wrong, which I waited a long time to order and didn’t know it was incorrect unto I left and it was too late. The atmosphere and menu items suggest they genuinely care. They just need to address some staff concerns.
