Sahm's Ale House Village of WestClay

I live in Fishers and patronize the Sahm’s on Allisonville Road, I do not believe I have ever had a bad meal there. Since I believe this ale house is under the Sahm’s ownership I recommended we try here for lunch. I ordered the meatloaf and was disappointed, it was reheated and burnt. I doubt we will return.

We just went for drinks after dinner. We love the server there with the pink hair. She is always so so nice and very helpful she's why we go there. We sat in the bar and enjoyed our drinks. I can also attest that while we did not order them this time, the breadsticjs are the best in the Indy area.

It's OK. I was not impressed by the food or choices on the menu, and the service was spotty ,we saw the waiter a total of twice and he never brought a soda ordered by one of the people at our table, it was our first time there and I always give a benefit of doubt until I have tried a place twice ,but it's gonna be a while before I give them another shot

Going here on New Year’s Day was for my birthday dinner and it was a disaster! Everyone was watching game at the bar ( our waiter) and he had to be told by bartender to help us. Trying to be patient even after game ended the service was not good and food even worse. My meal came out completely wrong and another meal never came so we finally asked where her meal was. No one said is everything ok or is there something I can do??? We were abandoned and felt guilty for complaining but it was obvious that this restaurant needs some help in their customer service and preparing food!!! Needless to say my birthday dinner was one to remember but not in a good way!!! I hope the manager and owner read this and can make some changes! It’s a quaint place with a lot of possibilities and Sahms restaurants were or used to be the best !!! Not anymore!!!!

Had fish and chips, and steak. The fried fish was spongy, fries were limp, and the "medium" steak for charred.

Restaurant is tired and needs a makeover, but the two items on the menu that we had were extremely bad. We're not going back.

We had a very nice and tasty lunch with good service However, it was Monday at noon and the restroom had what looked like weekend debris. Floor was sticky and littered with paper towels. The roll of towels wasn't even in the towel holder. Makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is. To top it off, someone used the facility and did not flush!!. How rude.

I believe they need more servers. Ours was taking care of more than six four-tops at once, and the service was very slow.

The only problem I encountered was really loud heavy metal music playing for several songs. I mentioned it to the server, and she said it was a bar soundtrack. The music did mellow out eventually. Other than that, great food, awesome area, cool vibe.

Sahm’s is fantastic! My wife and I stopped here before photographing an engagement, and the service is unmatched. After dinner, we realized the couple didn’t have a table to set photos/flowers on for the proposal, Andy went above and beyond and found us a table to use which made the event all the better. Thanks for the amazing experience!

We were looking for some place new and for a late lunch/early dinner. We got there a few minutes before 3pm and we're excited to see that Sahm's has a 3-5pm Happy Hour everyday, even on this Saturday! We ordered several items on their Happy Hour menu and shared plates. Everything was great! I ordered the Clint Eastwood slider and chicken street tacos. Very tasty! We also sampled the fried pickles and vegetable cigars. Another in our party had the meatloaf and I got a bite. It was worthy of ordering on our next visit! My wife loved her spice garlic cauliflower!

Jen gave us fantastic service while we enjoyed dinner and a drink on the patio. We had the hand breaded mushrooms which were great. We've been searching for a couple of years to replace our restaurant that closed after Covid for good hand breaded mushrooms. I'm happy to say that the search is over.
I had the special of Philly Steak Mac and cheese. Creamy cheese sauce and tender steak pieces with onions and peppers. I recommended the steak pieces be cut a little smaller. The cod fish sandwich was well prepared and cooked just right. A bit too much bread, but that's just me. All in all a very good meal for a reasonable price. Don't forget to get a Big Lug beer on draft - Pirate Cat for me.
