“Our first time here, short wait time, our waitress was great but the food! It was delish plus and so fresh tasting… I recommend the sweet potato chips and made fresh to order guacomole… we had the street tacos, chicken with mango salsa and spiced street corn ! It’s an hour and a half drive but one we will make again!“

“It was my first time visiting the establishment. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our wait staff was so attentive and sweet. He made sure he secured the last sweet potato cheesecake since what I originally ordered was discontinued. Our order was taken right away snd it did not take long for our food to be delivered to our tsble. We were checked on throughout our meal. I ordered the tips which were well seasoned and tender, collard greens and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious . “This was our first dining experience at Root and Bone, but it definitely won’t be our last. Our party of 4 started the the BLT small plate, which featured a delicious, perfectly cooked fried pickled green tomato, topped with pimento cheese, a piece of pork belly, and a luscious tomato jam. We also tried Grandma Daisy’s angel biscuits, which were substantial biscuits served with honey chicken jus, sea salt, and toasted benne seeds to be added as desired. Entrees selected were the chicken and waffle (served with bourbon maple syrup and the most AMAZING hot honey/Tabasco sauce. The shrimp and grits (with fantastic tomato confit, andouillle sausage, and sinfully delicious beer jus), short rib “meatloaf” ( shredded and compressed into a rectangular shape and char grilled, which all at the table tasted and salivated over), and the cedar plank salmon served with the most tasty thyme and lemon rice casserole (which was surprising to both females at the table as to the amount of lemon but was absolutely divine). A huge shout out goes to our server Imani F, who was knowledgeable, personable, and very good at explaining exactly what we were being presented with as she served us. First class all the way!“

“If you love light lunches without having to grab a salad, this is definitely a great place, especially if you love chicken salad. They're variations are impressive and it's very tasty! The inside of the restaurant is so adorable. Very girly! Service was top notch and we'll definitely visit again“

“I have autism and some textures are weird to me, so when you discontinued the turkey pesto I stopped coming because I can't tolerate the texture of the rest of the menu. The only reason this review got this score is because the person I came in to get food for was super happy and the staff was amazing. The fruit cup that I recieved did look really good though.“

“This year I decided to enjoy Christmas Day and make it easier on my Grandchildren by ordering the Prime Rib Heat n' Serve Family Dinner. Everyone was pleased and enjoyed the day with the babies, Isaac and Aeris. It was delicious. The only recommendation I would make is better dinner rolls. 👍🙂🎁🎄😋“

“We got it TO-Go This are first time trying it and I will say this was so Good 😊 yes cash only but he said there was a ATM in there Anyway let’s talk about this food. I got the fried chicken and smothered chicken yes I’m indecisive so I got both it came at four sides each and this cornbread was amazing 🥲 like cry cause imma so fat later. All of it was amazing I love the corn casserole 10/10 take my money !!! Also, I got dessert. I got a red velvet and a lemon cake Both was a hit absolutely amazing“

“We went on August 4th during the last hour, and they handed out the wrong order to someone (the order really being ours), but the way the man at the window handled it was amazing, he swiftly made our food again with no problem, coming from food service I know how irritating that could be especially 30 mins before close, but he was so sweet and even added two brownies for us! Not only that but as we were pulling out he ran out to hand us Mac a cheese that was forget, he was amazing!! Definitely deserves a raise!!“
