“My family and I heard about His Place Eatery many times over...all that was told to us missed the mark. Why? Because our experience exceeded everything we were told to expect. The icing on the cake was that the owner himself took time to visit our ( and all.other diners) table to be sure we were happy. The Chicken & Waffles? Fire! Smothered Chicken? Fire! Collard Greens Grilled Cheese? Fire! Catfish? Double Fire! All of the sides were delicious. The staff is a reflection.of the owner...friendly, knowledgeable and professional. A must vist!“

“Our first time here, short wait time, our waitress was great but the food! It was delish plus and so fresh tasting… I recommend the sweet potato chips and made fresh to order guacomole… we had the street tacos, chicken with mango salsa and spiced street corn ! It’s an hour and a half drive but one we will make again!“

“I finally got the chance to stop in to check them out at the Central Library, and my experience could not have been better! The lovely barista was so lovely to chat with, and the mocha was beyond belief! The perfect blend of chocolate and coffee, without being super sweet. And the prices are very reasonable, compared to many of the local shops around downtown. Do yourself a favor, go to the library, grab yourself a book, and try their coffee! They also have a seating area, so you can enjoy a nice, quiet moment to yourself, should you like. Next time I'll get some food as well, and will report back on that. (I will say, even though I didn't eat, the smells at the cafe were heavenly, so I imagine it will be a delightful meal!) Thanks again, and stay wonderful!“

“A friend of mine kept telling me to try CSC and I finally caved. I entered your store and was greeted by Aaliyah, who was so friendly and kind. She truly represents your company well. Little did I know, this visit would be the first of many. It's now been about two months of regularly visiting your store for my Barbie Q fix. Each visit, I am never met with judgement as I do my favorite walk of shame to the counter to pick up yet another order. Even after mastering your menu, I skip the drive thru and enter the store so I can see Aaliyah. She always greets me with a smile and wishes me a great day. “This place is the bomb dot com and both Kisha and Keisha have excellent customer service skills. The restaurant is extremely clean, the food is hot, delicious and fresh, there is enough seating for large groups and you will not be disappointed. All of the food is worth the prices and the corn casserole is one of my favorites. Just don’t forget to bring cash since they take cash only. The sweet potato pie is banging also so don’t get a slice but a whole pie so you won’t regret it when you get home with just one slice. We will definitely return to enjoy some good food and great conversation. I highly recommend this place for some good home cooked meals. I give them 10 stars!“
