“City Barbeque was very good for our lunch. The Two Meat plate was very satisfying with a Texas sausage and full cut brisket, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The collard greens were exceptional. We shared banana pudding and peach cobbler for dessert. The peach cobbler was super!“

“We tried @halfliter_bbq in #Indianapolis, and this is what we rated them. A couple of things first. It was their Octoberfest, so they were very busy. Even with that, the food was out in 6 minutes! Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “Was in the area with a friend, so we googled food near us, and this place came up with some amazing reviews. Place is legit with some perfectly smoked meats, delicious variety of sauces, and some great customer service. Got the opportunity to chat with CJ and her husband, the two owners. Two great people with a great backstory, full of dedication and grind. Highly recommend the pulled pork, rib tips, and brisket. “I tried the burger at Big Walt's Wings & More and it was seriously one of the best I’ve had in a while. The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The bun was fresh and held everything together perfectly without getting soggy.

“My wife and I stopped by for a bit of a late lunch to celebrate my first retired check from the military. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of cocktails and some great food. Her filet was cooked perfectly, tender and very tasty right off the grill. It needed nothing. Amazing. I had a lunch salad with Sirloin and as my side the steamed broccoli. I loved it. Didn’t need to pick up any salt/pepper or seasonings at all for either of our meals. She had a made to order special cocktail with Malibu Rum orange juice and pineapple juice with a splash of grenadine it looked like a tequila sunrise in a highball glass but tasted like a tropical island drink. I ordered the “long pour” watermelon Margarita which I thought was like an extra shot but turned out to be essentially the entire shaker left at the table after the first pour was done table side. Turned out the long pour added only $3 but resulted in nearly 3 of the Margaritas all together. Maybe 2 1/2 or so but to the rim. It was delicious without being too sweet. We enjoyed the whole experience and the server was just attentive enough to not be too intrusive to our conversation. As we left she thanked me for my service and congratulated me on my retirement which I appreciated - “she must have noticed I was taking a picture of my retired ID and my wife’s and overheard us talking with our adult daughter on the phone.” It was a great day!!“

“I’ve been here a few times and the food doesn’t disappoint. I did have a disappointing experience today with our bill however. There was an extra meal charged on our bill which I brought to our servers attention. When she returned, I found that instead of voiding and printing a corrected bill, she ran a credit charge for the overage. This meant I had to pay the higher incorrect charge and wait (from what I understand) a couple 3-4 days for the credit to return to my card. I don’t feel it appropriate that the customer pay for the billing error then have to wait for a refund. I did let them know I wasn’t happy about it. I will be watching that I do receive this credit. It also put a bad taste in my mouth about returning anytime soon.“

“Let me start by saying...WOW! This place is by far one of the best and most authentic Barbecue joints this side of Beale Street. The ribs are tender and swimming in a sauce so good it can only be handmade. The sides leave nothing to want for and the staff is just as sweet as the sweet potato pie. Hands down the best place for ribs in the state, they must animals volunteering to lay on that smoker because they know a pit master when they see one! 10/10“

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“

“I drove by this place a few times and there's always a lines which told me everything i needed to know i tried the hot turkey ribs green beans and potato salad
I've never had turkey ribs but allow me to tell you if you haven't either ur missing out like I was took like 20 minutes to get my food which wasn't bad and I knew when I stepped inside the food was going to be good
Whole plate 10 outta 10 and I'll definitely be going back for the same thing if it ain't broke don't fix it
