“Ben's is the best BBQ! My previous favorite is Oklahoma Joe's/Joe's in Kansas City.Similar origin stories.It starts with the smoker. Oklahoma Joe built his own and so does Ben. I was invited into the inner sanctum of the smoke house to see the "Red October" offset.All of the BBQ is smoked with local Indiana cherry.Ben's is located in an old used car lot in old downtown Westfield where parking can be very dear. Prime spots are located back by the picnic tables.If you don't preorder and walk up you will need to be there at noon if you want BBQ before sell out.I did a walk up visit on Saturday Apr 6 for brisket and pulled pork and returned Apr 7 Sunday for ribs, pork belly and turkey. The ribs are spare vs baby back so plenty of meat and finished with a rub. All meats are fork tender.My preference for pulled pork is Carolina style referred to as just BBQ in the Carolinas. Served family style in a bowl with finishing sauce choices of mustard or apple cider vinegar available if desired. Ben's serves his pulled pork chopped and lightly sauced, all good but not my preference. Ben would most likely indulge Carolina BBQ presentation if requested.Ben's is a BBQ shack but has picnic tables out back if you wish to eat while there.If you don't visit Ben's BBQ Shack you don't know what you missing and if you wait until next weekend you will only be a week older when you do.Parking: Parking in old downtown Westfield is dear.Arrived early at Ben's and park back by the picnic tables“
“I drive by this food truck literally multiple times each day as my office is nearby. I keep intending to try it and have not made the time….until now. I ordered carry out via the website (which was a great experience by the way) and omg it was absolutely delicious! I am half Assyrian, so I’ve enjoyed a lot of Middle Eastern food throughout my life. Davani Armenian BBQ is the real deal! Everything tasted as authentic as if a relative or family friend prepared and grilled it from scratch. The beef lulu kabob wrap was incredible…the meat was moist and flavorful, the lavosh wrap was still warm from the grill, and the owner (who was so friendly and kind) was able to provide me the sauce, cilantro & onion, and tomato toppings on the side as I requested. All of it was **so good**! I also ordered the hummus & pita —both of which were quite tasty as well. I highly recommend this food truck to everyone who appreciates authentic, freshly prepared food! “This was my 2nd time coming to this place and I was expecting the same great BBQ rib tips with sweet sauce but when I received the rib tips..it tasted almost like they were boiled, tough, and very gummy..maybe it was just a early batch and they needed to sell immediately or maybe it was just one of those days but I plan coming back because I am still looking to have that same experience the first time. Also I wonder if such request for getting rib tips with more bark is possible because that’s what got me coming back again lol. But overall this place is great!“
“Fantastic meal, fantastic service, fantastic experience.I had the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and mac & cheese. The original sauce was my favorite, but the hot BBQ sauce was also good.My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. The baked beans tasted like cinnamon brown sugar.We're glad to have found a good BBQ place near us, definitely recommend if you're in the area.“
“The restaurant is an odd place…it’s an Asian bbq fusion restaurant and it’s pirate themed inside lol. I’m not sure what kind of vibe this restaurant is going for… This is something I can overlook if the food is good, and since the food was excellent, I overlooked this oddity!I got “the amendment” which is a bed of rice topped with veggies, beef brisket and teriyaki sauce. It was delicious! All of the employees were nice, which made for a great dining experience!“
“Good food, nice portion sizes. We ordered via DoorDash. Everything was nicely packed. I had the Korean bbq and it was fantastic. The price point is on the higher side, but it was worth it. If you are wanting to try Korean food this is a good spot for delicious food.“
“The food was very good the ribs that I had were really juicy and had a lot of meat, the Mac n cheese wasn't dry and didn't taste completely like cheese just the perfect in between ,the service was awesome the guy asking for our order was loyd enoughfor us to hear and treated us with the upmost respect,The atmosphere was just like a home barbecue with the familyand friends. “I was meeting some coworkers for dinner, something we had planned in advanced and were COUNTING down the days to when we could have Texas Roadhouse. We talked many times throughout the week about how we couldn’t wait for the rolls and how we love everything TRoadhouse.The Friday came (April 19), and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Morgan was our server, and she absolutely went WAY above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. She let us spew out our drink orders/food orders in excitement as we apologized for moving too fast and excitedly because we knew for days what we were going to order. Mainly the rolls and she kept our baskets full without having to ask. She was friendly and personable and attentive, the exact waitress we needed to top our evening off to being such a great Texas Roadhouse experience. She really was the highlight of our night (aside from the rolls…). Thank you so much, Morgan for entertaining our annoyances and being so great!! You really are the best!“
“This was all of our first time there we had 6 in our party which included two kids. I was so glad to NOT see mac n cheese as a main course for kids on the menu. Everyone got something different and everyone loved their food. Also the kids meals come with a rice krispy treat that comes on a plate that looks like a painters pallette with a paintbrush, chocolate syrup, raspberry sauce and sprinkles super fun!!“
“This place is such a great spot. Every time I go here the Employees are so nice. I’ve met one named Nolan (I’m also named Nolan) which was super cool he was great. Another time I got a small fry and they brought out a huge tray of loaded fries and they were amazing. The brisket and pulled pork is so good I leave this place full and satisfied every time. Plus the Corn pudding is to die for. Highly recommend City Barbecue“
“Out of all the steakhouses in Indianapolis, LongHorn is my favorite. Tonight we decided to try something new and it was WORTH IT. We added Parmesan cheese crusted topping and it elevated our entrees. We had the shrimp for the appetizer, the strawberry margarita and Cupcake moscato as cocktails (long pour), lamb chops,T-bone steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, chopped salad and loaded baked potato. “We showed up about 9:30 with what was supposed to be a party of 8. That's 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. We were seated right away, and our server was more than helpful and gracious. She made sure our order was placed before the kitchen closed and took very good care of us. We only ended up having four in our party, but we're very thankful for such a positive experience that late.“
