“This place was a 10/10 all around. The vibes were great as soon as we walked in. The staff was super friendly. This was our first time here as out of towners and they were super polite to help us with what we needed. Most responses were followed with “yes ma’am”. The food….oh my!! Hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in a long time. My husband tried multiple sauces for his meal and he said every sauce was great in its own way. Even my extremely picky children cleaned their plates. We had 4 meals all with drinks and fries and an order of fried pickles and only spent $55. We sat outside for our meal and it was very peaceful. I was texting family members before we had even left to recommend finding time to come here. We will most definitely be back next time we come to Indy!!“

“We tried @halfliter_bbq in #Indianapolis, and this is what we rated them. A couple of things first. It was their Octoberfest, so they were very busy. Even with that, the food was out in 6 minutes! Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “This place has the best smoked brisket in this city!!! Officially my favorite bbq place now. I am regretting that I haven’t visited this place sooner. My baked potato was overflowing in brisket. They even give me example to try while waiting. It melted in my mouth and the hank sauce complimented so well.“

“I tried the burger at Big Walt's Wings & More and it was seriously one of the best I’ve had in a while. The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The bun was fresh and held everything together perfectly without getting soggy.

You can tell it’s made fresh, not just thrown together. Every bite had great flavor, and the portion size was solid for the price. Definitely not your average fast-food burger.

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“

The ribs are tender and swimming in a sauce so good it can only be handmade. The sides leave nothing to want for and the staff is just as sweet as the sweet potato pie. Hands down the best place for ribs in the state, they must animals volunteering to lay on that smoker because they know a pit master when they see one! 10/10“

“Went there for lunch and offered two small rib tip dinners. One spicy one mild and sizes were green bean and Mac n cheese/ potato salad and baked beans. Oh and a slice of chess pie. The rib tips were plentiful and nice size. The sauce was spicy but not overly. Mac and cheese was creamier than cheesy. I liked it my girl said it tasted like stovetop. The green beans were alright could have had a lil bit more seasoning tho. Baked beans were out the can with some brown sugar. The chess pie was good but I'm used to sweeter versions. All in all 40 bucks spent well.“

It’s only one person taking orders and payments, preparing the orders.. also make sure you go at least an 2 hours before the restaurant closes they run out of food.. (Come to find out it was only his 3rd day, which shocked me, because he did better than most of the seasoned servers I've had previously at different restaurants). “As we arrived there was plenty of parking but when we walked in, we received several stares like they had never seen a black family before (myself, husband and 3 kids). We were seated all the way in the back (i thought we were going to the kitchen lol) but our waitress, even though she was new, was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food and my prickly pear margarita was soooo good! I would definitely come to Logans again but not that location.“
