“March 2024 ~ the construction is gone, so no more problems getting there! I had the rare prime rib, which was very tender and juicy. If you order dessert, be warned that the carrot cake is about ¼ of a 5 layer cake! Probably one of the largest deserts I've ever seen! ? We sat in the same booth we've had before, so I took a picture of our little fox friend!Excellent food and friendly wait staff. Good value for money spent. My meal was large enough for me to take home small portions for lunch the next day, but I wouldn't say that's true for most customers ~ I just eat smaller portions and slowly. It's one of our go to spots on our way home from hiking day trips. Construction is still kind of a pain, but worth navigating for a good meal!“
“This was our first visit to Gather Around. We were quickly seated. The food was great!. My husband had the ribs, onion rings, and candied bacon. One of our friends had bbq chicken, onion rings, and coleslaw. Our other friend had the Carolina bbq, candied bacon and potato salad I had the special - a tenderloin and fries. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Just wish the wait staff would have been a little more attentive by refilling our drinks. There was a lot of carryout orders. We will go there again.Parking: At 6pm on a Thursday evening, lots of street parking was available.“
