“Found this place in a local review field fried chicken and figured I would give them a try. Sure glad I did. The shop itself is a little off the road in an older strip mall. When you walk in, you are hit with fragrant aromas of freshly-fried chicken. I chose the three-piece lunch, and it was very solid. Chose the Mac-and-cheese for my side, which was also creamy and flavorful. Overall, I was pleasantly impressed, and will not hesitate to return.“
“Came to town for a concert, and on the way home, I was craving fried chicken. Googled, "best fried chicken" and this place showed up. The fried chicken was indeed phenomenal, and the Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had. the potatoes and the green beans were amazing, too. But the best thing about this restaurant is the people. Every person we interacted with was insanely kind, so very warm and welcoming, and we're already planning on driving the 2.5 hours back for more food! Huge portions, very reasonable pricing. You will not leave hungry, that's for sure!“

“I had came across this restaurant googling soul food places && saw it was right around the corner from my house, I sent my daughter to get our food && she said the atmosphere felt like everyone was family. I didn’t get to even take a picture of my food it smelled so good when she came in with it. It was ? ??. I had the whiting, yams, macaroni, dressing, && greens. My kids had the chicken, yams, greens, && macaroni. Everything was good I did have to add a little salt to my Mac but other than that everything was delicious especially the dessert , which was Carmel cake && sweet potato pie.“
“The food was seasoned well! Yet the employee taking the orders was confrontational with a customer that was from out of town, creating discomfort in the already cramped space. Improving the order delivery system would alleviate this issue, as the current process seems tailored primarily to regular customers. I would go again! We went on 11/12/2023“

“Ordered on Uber Eats! I love rib tips. So far these are the best I have had in Indianapolis. The sides were excellent. My bf had greens and Mac&cheese. He was very impressed. Cornbread was so moist and tasty. The only thing that could have been better is if we received the dessert that we ordered. I had my heart set on the peach cobbler. Can't wait to order again but pick it up ourselves from restaurant.“
