While on a family trip to Indianapolis, some local friends brought me here and said it was the BEST fried fish in Indy. I was NOT disappointed. The ambiance is very casual and quaint. Really great service and the food is exceptional. We started with hush puppies and fried mushrooms and they were incredible. My main course was the Fried Perch Platter and it was beyond delicious. 1. The place is clean and kitchen is cleaned frequently after meals are prepared to prevent cross contamination.2. The food was freshly prepared, the wait time wasn’t too long, I had the peach cobbler for dessert (while waiting for my meal) it’ll definitely give your granny a run for her money. The catfish and chicken was on point. The problem was the sides. There wasn't enough to give a rating. See photos. I always try to support black businesses, but they've got to do better on the portions for the money spent.
