The atmosphere felt classic, welcoming, and full of history, which made the evening feel even more special. Our steaks were absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked, flavorful, tender, and honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. You can absolutely tell why St. Elmo’s is so well known. And of course… we have to talk about the famous horseradish cocktail sauce. WOW. It absolutely lives up to the hype. It has the perfect kick and flavor, and it’s one of those things you keep thinking about long after dinner is over. Definitely a must-try experience all on its own. What made the evening even more meaningful was celebrating Mother’s Day there together. Great food always creates memories, and this was one of those dinners we will always look back on fondly. If you’re looking for an amazing steakhouse experience with exceptional food, wonderful service, and a memorable atmosphere, St. Elmo’s is absolutely worth the visit. ❤️“

He is, without question, the best server we have ever had. His attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care elevated an already phenomenal evening into something truly memorable. “My wife and I stopped by for a bit of a late lunch to celebrate my first retired check from the military. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of cocktails and some great food. Her filet was cooked perfectly, tender and very tasty right off the grill. It needed nothing. Amazing. I had a lunch salad with Sirloin and as my side the steamed broccoli. I loved it. Didn’t need to pick up any salt/pepper or seasonings at all for either of our meals. She had a made to order special cocktail with Malibu Rum orange juice and pineapple juice with a splash of grenadine it looked like a tequila sunrise in a highball glass but tasted like a tropical island drink. I ordered the “long pour” watermelon Margarita which I thought was like an extra shot but turned out to be essentially the entire shaker left at the table after the first pour was done table side. Turned out the long pour added only $3 but resulted in nearly 3 of the Margaritas all together. Maybe 2 1/2 or so but to the rim. It was delicious without being too sweet. We enjoyed the whole experience and the server was just attentive enough to not be too intrusive to our conversation. As we left she thanked me for my service and congratulated me on my retirement which I appreciated - “she must have noticed I was taking a picture of my retired ID and my wife’s and overheard us talking with our adult daughter on the phone.” It was a great day!!“

“I just visited this restaurant for the first time with a co-worker. All of the staff were attentive and welcoming. Elliot was our waiter and he was amazing! Very kind and knowledgeable. I was trying to decide between a couple of options and he recommended the salmon. It was a great recommendation.“

“I've eaten many places in my 44 years. I can unequivocally say this is the best meal I've had in my life. I had the salmon on a bed of crab meat rice. I took a bite of just the rice first and my eyes rolled back in my head. Incredible flavor. Bob is an amazing server, ask for him, the staff was great, I was blown away. It was pricy no doubt. Two seafood entrees, a small filet, two shareable sides, and three cocktails was $330 plus tip. And it was honestly well worth it. I was in town for a game from 2 hours away. I would go back just to eat there, game or no game. We were told that the Indiana Pacers often eat there after games, so keep that in mind - I'm sure they have a private room though.“

“A very old place. The bathrooms are old. Parking is extremely limited. The only meat I could order medium rare was the steak tips. I could have had a better meal at longhorn steak house! Truely.. no seasoning, VERY BLAN food. Sorry South siders you don't have a Nalyas or The Salt or Harry & Izzys. So much better steak places out there!“

The staff were professional, knowledgeable and kind. Anson was my server and was absolutely amazing. (Come to find out it was only his 3rd day, which shocked me, because he did better than most of the seasoned servers I've had previously at different restaurants). Anson gave me recommendations, answered my questions, very attentive, refills without me having to ask and do considerate. The food was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant at this location. I give it a 5+ stars.“
