Controversial opinion; the fries are better now tbh.
Super appreciate the actual QUALITY gluten free bun sub. The owners care about making their food accessible to many people, not just carnivores with an iron stomach. Fyre is open late, which gives us second and third shifters a beautiful and delicious option for food during /after our shifts. It’s also just great to be able to get a dab down the street and walk down here and be able to smash food without any sense of shame around the fact that I’m stoned af and about to literally inhale these fries.
The space is much bigger now, as the new owners have remodeled/removed several walls in the front of the shop to create additional seating. A nice high bar in front of a sunny window sounds like workspace heaven at 11am.
They plan to do tons of events, as the space is fricken huge. All around very excited for the future of this space and ftsq!

“This hidden gem is quickly becoming a regular lunch spot for me. The food is so good and the service is quick. A long line during the lunch hour can be scary, but it always moves quickly - and it's worth whatever small wait stands between you and a great sandwich!“

I opted for a the Olivia's Old South Scoop and the Maui Mama for my first purchase.
Both are incredible! If you like soft sweet heat, the Maui scoop is for you! Just enough kick, but not harsh, and the pineapple sets it off!
Kathy introduced herself to me personally, she was very warm and welcoming. I was very impressed.
Julie made sure to educate me on the history of this chain and set me up with rewards.

I have to ask for them even though they are ordered and paid for and visible on the receipt. No chips, no drinks no cookies. “The Spanish ladies working the evening shift on Monday were very rude. I told them that this is not the correct way to make a sandwich, and instead of helping, they responded rudely.

When I asked for another sandwich, they said they did not have any veggie patties available. However, earlier they had told me that they did have veggie patties, and then later changed their statement. This was very unprofessional.

I did not like the way they treated their customers. Customer service should be respectful, and I felt uncomfortable because of their attitude. There was also a lack of hygiene, which was concerning.

If they continue treating customers this way, it will only hurt the business and cause the owner to lose customers. Nothing may happen to the employees, but the business will suffer. “I've had nothing but great experiences at this Subway. Staff is incredibly friendly and actually cares about getting your order right. Recently had a messed up order and once I was at the store, I realized that it was an app error and not the fault of the store employees. Chris and Tim insisted on remaking it anyway. Also the employees all wear masks, which makes me and my family feel really safe. We drive past six Subways to go to this one. Worth it.“

The chips are fabulous and John Did a great job of serving us he gave my son an extra Pepsi because he used great manners. “One of my biggest complaints across all Subways is how little toppings they give you. I find that is generally consistent across the board. However, this location gives you lots and lots of toppings. They know what they’re doing, and want to make your experience positive. “Kris, I think that was the cook's name, made the best Philly Cheese steaks that I have eaten. I have eaten sandwiches from Maine to LA, and this one was the best. Only issue is that I called in about 15 minutes early and they didn't put my fries down until I got there. Maybe they do that, so they are fresh, so wasn't a big deal.“

“After a 16-hour drive, this was exactly what we needed.
I ordered the Meal of the Day, the Spicy Italian, and it was amazing. While ordering, I noticed the cheese slices weren't cut into triangles anymore, so I asked the employee about it. He told me Subway had changed that about a year ago. I was surprised because several other Subway locations I've visited still use the triangle-cut cheese.
We also decided to upgrade to the Moana Meal Deal, and it was well worth it.
