“The food was decent with generous portions.

HOWEVER - I did not tip after seeing my toddlers and I were charged $3 for 3 bottles of Sam's club water. I literally have a brick of Sam's water in my trunk right now. Not exactly something I endorse. It won't stop me from dining here again, but it's just disappointing.“

“Though the food was delicious it had me and my wife shitting aggressively, we hadn’t even finished our food and we just got so constipated. The second we woke up we were aggressively trying to poop. It was not coming out. We sat on the toilet for about 20 minutes until it stopped hurting so badly and finally smoothed out.“

I came here after an event for a lunch and luckily has a seat and table. They should clear up and allow sitting space for customers to sit and eat. My food came out fresh and the orange chicken was great. I will come back if in the area. Prices were very fair.“

“I hadn't eaten here in years but my daughter was sick and wanted wonton soup. There are hardly any open Chinese restaurants on Mondays so we chose here. Food was ready quickly, quantity was plenty, and price was fair. We would return. And the wonton soup was really good.“

“I randomly chose this restaurant as a meet up spot for friends who enjoy Thai food. Found just a spot off of Route 30 in Merrillville, I was so happy with the experience. Outside it looks like it was once a different restaurant but inside transports you into an absolutely lovely dining room. I had my go to Tofu pad Thai. I had been warned that their spice level may be higher than the average American version of Thai. No problem for me. It was delicious. Too many places make this dish overly sweet and this had that great balance of sweet, salty and sour. Our table also enjoyed various fried rice dishes, potstickers and a panang curry. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was excellent. Our waiter did a great job making sure wedding had time to order. It is a small restaurant with a small staff but our food timing and service were spot on. I definitely would go back and I found a new “happy place.”“

“We just had dinner at Five Star Thai Cuisine. What a delight! We have tried some of the other Thai places in the area and none hold a candle to this restaurant. Such authentic flavors! We lived in Thailand, and this is like popping into one of the local corner places in Bangkok. We will definitely return!“

“Their Pho was delicious, wasn’t initially expecting all that flavor but it was packed with it! I’m giving 4–stars, because they were out of a lot of foods- including rice and the crab rangoons didn’t have much crab in them.

But overall- great food that could be easily overlooked!“
