Flat Rock Grill is a restaurant that has impressed many first-time visitors with its customer service, food, and atmosphere. The service from managers and servers is described as second to none, with staff members being sweet, attentive, and fast. One manager personally apologized for a reservation misunderstanding and provided two free appetizers. Servers gave wonderful recommendations and made sure guests were satisfied. The atmosphere has a nice country feel, and the music is wonderful.

The food receives mixed to positive feedback. The shareable chips/salsa/guac/queso was a disappointment for one guest, who found the salsa was definitely from a jar, the guac tasted bland and was not fresh, and felt $17 was too much. However, the queso was good and decent. The roasted brussel sprouts were really good, and the fried catfish was really good with pieces bigger than usual. The old fashioned flight was a fun addition. Many great choices are available, including beef sandwiches, Cajun chicken pasta, a specialty burger, pizza, and the state fair burger, which is a great burger if you like sweet and savory. Everyone loved their selections.

The restaurant has become a regular spot for some and comes highly recommended for anyone in the area.
