A group of us stopped to eat while we were out riding. Because none of us have been here n have heard good things n wanted to eat with a view. when we walked in we were immediately judged and stared at. Then after looking over the menu we decided it wasn’t the place to just stop for a quick eat. For a date night yes but just to grab a bite to eat no. And before comments come it seriously isn’t about the money but I’m not paying dang near 20 dollars for rabbit food. And I’m...read full review
We ate at the Boathouse in Cicero tonight out on the deck with a nice view of the lake. Sorry I need to vent…. We had a nice dinner, had two nice entrees and some drinks. After we paid, we noticed a sign near the restrooms that said BOGO entrees on Tuesdays. I immediately thought, why did they charge us for two entrees at full price. I asked the manager and she said, that special is only valid if you tell your server about it at the time of ordering. The manager also...read full review

The Boathouse Kitchen & Swan Dive offers a great atmosphere with a stunning waterfront view. The dining experience can be hit-or-miss, with the food quality being inconsistent. The service can also vary, with occasional issues like loud music and mix-ups with orders. However, the setting is appealing, and the overall experience can be worthwhile, especially for those seeking a lovely evening overlooking the water. The restaurant is known for dishes like fried shrimp and grouper, as well as a house chop salad. The atmosphere and live music can make for an enjoyable outing, though the prices may not always justify the value.
The restaurant features a fun atmosphere for drinks and dinner, with almost always live music in the outdoor bar area. Guests can reserve ahead on Open Table and request to sit upstairs, as the lower level outside can get hot. The restaurant can be a bit pricey, and the staff is often very busy. Customers have enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the upstairs patio. The personnel are friendly and accomodating, and there is Wednesday night Musical Bingo. However, the live music can be too loud, making it difficult to talk. The service can be the worst ever, where you are not offered refills and have to ask multiple times for things. If it wasn't for the food, some guests wouldn't be back. Overall, the Boathouse Kitchen & Swan Dive is a popular destination for its atmosphere and scenery, though the dining experience can be mixed.
