The cheeseburger that I had was excellent
First time today, although I've driven by dozens of time. The breaded tenderloin sandwich was exceptional. Thick, juicy, and larger than the bun. I was a bit surprised at a $1.50 upcharge for everything on the sandwich. Substituting French fries for the chips was a big mistake, today. They certainly were not fresh...cold and crunchy. Crossroad Inn is a great spot that serves delicious food. The grilled chicken breast with double green beans is a popular choice, and the liver and onions is highly recommended. The kids' chicken tender meal is a generous serving, and the cheeseburger pizza is a standout dish. The breaded tenderloin sandwich is also exceptional, but be prepared for an upcharge for extras. While the service can be hit or miss, the friendly waitress makes up for it. Overall, Crossroad Inn is a great place to eat, but try to avoid visiting during peak bar hours.
