MY sister and I eat there ON Friday May 8, 2026 tried the campfire breakfast we both thought it taste awful and we only got a fork to eat with had to ask for a knife to cut it with. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a restaurant that offers a pleasant dining experience with courteous and professional staff. The restaurant can accommodate large groups and assist with splitting bills. The food is delicious and served in hearty portions, with the children's menu items being particularly generous. The hashbrown topped shepherd pie is fabulous with great flavor and tender beef. Newer menu options like the Shrimp Creole bowl and Fried Shrimp are very good as well.
While the experience is generally positive, there may be a wait for food during busy periods, and breakfast dishes can arrive at different times. Some customers have noted that the acoustics could be improved, as the noise level can make it hard to hear during meals. Although there were some issues with certain dishes, like the crunchy hash brown casserole and undercooked hamburger steak, the overall service is commendable. Wheelchair accessibility is mostly good, with convenient parking, spacious restrooms, and ample room in the dining area, though some aisles in the gift shop might be tight for wheelchair maneuverability. The staff often receives praise for being kind and knowledgeable, making for a memorable dining experience.
