We have a Mother’s Day tradition of having lunch at Byrds. Sadly that tradition ended this year (2025), we won’t ever be back. Dealt with the rude cashier, which I hear is a co-owner of the place. One would think if you own the place you might go above and beyond for your customers, but not her! She has a helpful and nice staff, maybe put one of them at the cash register, she MUST know she totally lacks people skills. Our brisket was watery and cold. Cash register gal said their wings are great but they’re sold out (on Labor Day weekend you couldn’t stock enough wings?…)
They don’t have sliced brisket, which tells me they don’t cook it right. I got pulled pork and pulled brisket. Everyone at the table agreed the meat is dry, and every bite tasted waterlogged.
