“I visited the establishment out of curiosity. The enticing aromas of freshly baked goods permeated the air. An assortment of doughnuts, scones, cookies, danishes, and loaves of bread were on display. I made a purchase of two tarts, namely the Twix and the Briscoff. The Twix tart bore a striking resemblance to the popular candy bar, yet it surpassed it in terms of taste and quality. It consisted of a shortbread crust filled with a delectable caramel custard, topped with chocolate and a piece of a Twix bar. The experience was truly divine. I have reserved the Briscoff tart for a later occasion. The establishment offers a diverse selection of other delectable items, including cakes. I intend to revisit the establishment in the future to indulge in a sweet treat.“

“Everything is great at Marilyn's Bakery. I have been enjoying lunches there lately; homecooked beef Panini sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, plus homemade soups & deserts. A lot of food reasonably priced. Also, their homemade pies and pastries are exceptional. Support your local businesses in St. John.“

“Not only does Tammy decorate and create the most beautiful cakes, Joy assists to every attention to detail! They both go above and beyond to satisfy the customer; And cakes are DELICIOUS!!! 😋😋 Oh and I would never forget to mention that ALMIRAS has THEE BEST DONUTS ever created! The homemade chocolate frosting is to die for with sprinkles as an added bonus!! 😉“

We got a lemon cake with raspberry filling and it was one of the best cakes either of us have ever have! We are happy to have leftovers. Sharon was also SO friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. We highly recommend her!“

A friend and I recently celebrated a family reunion gathering and we got a lot of compliments on the delicious cake and its decorations. The cake was so beautiful that the guests took pictures of it and asked us where we got it. Torie was very kind and professional and listened carefully to how we wanted the cake designed. “LAWD HAVE MERCY! Went into this shop with my husband, not realizing Fratellos was gone. We ordered the strawberry butter cookies and peanut butter cookies and key lime and strawberry shortcake cheesecake. HEAVEN. This place is amazing and we will be back. Do yourself a favor and get there!“
“I can tell that they put their heart into baking here. I tried 5 of their butter cookie flavors - strawberry, lemon, tres leches, chocolate and Old fashioned/original. First of all - the cookies are HUGE! I love that! However, more importantly, the flavors in each one are so good. No matter which one I tried it had great taste! My favorites were the original and the strawberry! They are in your local Jewel and I think Mariano's now as well. GRAB A BAG!!!!!“
